Re: Flying with cpapa

Hello everyone, I have not posted for a long time. I lost my husband of 45 years on Sept 10th 2008 and am having a very hard time dealing with living without him. So I have decided to take my 13 yr old granddaughter on a trip to Mount Rushmore to hopefully start living again. I have not flown for o...

2nd sleep study results

My doctor called last Thursday and told me that with the CPAP, the results were significantly better and that I was sleeping through the night. I'm happy but she's adamant that I cannot pick what machine I want. She says the sleep company will call my insurance to see what kind of machine is covere...

Re: eBay strikes again for unknown reason...

Have you checked eBays no no list to see if the item you are trying to purchase is on that list? I can't imagine anything having to do with the CPAP being on that list but you never know. As far as medical, the only thing I know for sure that is not to be sold on there is any type of medicines or p...

Re: What Now?

Yep. It's a VERY good (data-capable) machine and the one I started out with and still use. Here are the instructions for setting it up. Den REMstar Pro 2 Setup When in the Setup Menu, the humidifier ^ and ramp v buttons operate as up and down keys to change the settings, the left/right user buttons...

I do need help with this machine

I'm trying to use this REMstar pro 2. One hose hooks from the humidifier to the machine. The longer hose w/mask hooks from humidifier to me. I put it all on and turn it on. I need help with the setting because this blows VERY HARD. I mean, I know there's supposed to be some air pressure but I'm gag...

Re: What Now?

The Remstar Pro 2 is an older machine but a very good one. If you search it on the fourm or search Wulfman's posts you can see how to set it up for you. I didn't notice if Wulfman had seen your posts or not. You could PM him and ask him to walk you through setting up your step dad's machine for you...

I'm looking forward to having a machine that is smaller and quieter than my old beast.

Re: What Now?

All the best for you in your new life. Oh wow! Thanks for the link. I giggled while reading it because it was so me. Back when I was younger I know I lost brain cells while being pregnant. The last year or so I couldn't figure out why I was still losing them. Or why I started losing them again? LOL...

Re: What Now?

I'm a dork who isn't ready to mention it over there. Honestly, knowing now that your OSA is severe, a lot of stuff you posted in the past about being stressed/sick/etc. makes even more sense. I really hope that CPAP and better sleep are the "ticket" for you. (Ba-ba-bum.) I saw a thread here somewhe...
