I'm trying to use this REMstar pro 2. One hose hooks from the humidifier to the machine. The longer hose w/mask hooks from humidifier to me. I put it all on and turn it on. The Remstar Pro 2 is an older machine but a very good one. If you search it on the fourm or search Wulfman's posts you can see how to set it up for you. I didn't notice if Wulfman had seen your posts or not. You could PM him and ask him to walk you through setting up your step dad's machine for you...
