Hi, I'm a brand-new CPAP user (less than a week), and I am wondering why everyone who breathes through their mouth doesn't just get the full face mask? That's what they gave me, and I would rather just get used to that instead of trying to tape/glue my mouth shut! "FarAwayDeb" Many folks struggle w...

I have been hosed up EVERY - SINGLE - NIGHT for the last 14 months with two exceptions due to travel and a missing part. Those two nights were enough to tell me that taking a night off was not a good thing. Instant headache, instant parchment mouth, constant brain fog and crushing end of day fatigue...

Poll - MD requests for xPAP Data?
Bill got me curious.
In 14 months one RT has asked me once for compliance data only.
In 4 visits no doctor has asked.

Re: Swift leak or exhaust?
Despite this, I feel gentle air movement on my face, it is not directly from the exhaust or a leak - could it be the exhaust moving air around it that is making my face tickle? Thanks!!! Wistful Yes, I experience that some times. The Swift really puts out air in the exhaust. It's amazing. I think i...

I hear you. This was my second night on the Opus and when it broke the seal I could not get it to reseal this time with making it so tight I still have the marks and one pillow was 1/3 the way up my nose. I was really happy the night before last but last night was a trick! It's a Swift night tonight...

First Night on Opus & Other Things
The Swift has been my trusted interface of choice for 14 months now. It has served me very well. I have tried Comfort Classic (a disaster for me) Aura/Headrest/Twilight (didn't feel good, believe I'm sensitive to poor CO2 clearance) Activa (facial rash and sores) Vista (chronic leaks) CL2 (same as T...

I use this Click for link to METRONIDAZOLE with success. I suffered rosacea before beginning my OSA therapy but it does seem the headgear creates more problems on my forehead and the gel doesn't seem to help nearly as much there as on my cheeks etc. I only use it for flare ups. I do use PADACHEEKS b...

I have one, used it for awhile but did not see too much difference and found it difficult to sustain. I'm no expert but did do some research "back when". I believe you need at least 5000 lux and that is if the lights are going to be pretty close. To have them over 20" away I think you need to go to ...

OCO, Did you see my post about patience? My study numbers were low and I had many of the same questions you did but, for whatever reason, I persisted. One reason was that the two nights, in the last 14 months, that I went without treatment I felt terrible. My AHI numbers never became consistently su...
