Re: what is the best hose management device
I absolutely love my Hozer! I don't even turn much in bed so was very surprised at what a difference it made. Definitely helped the leaks and when I turn in bed I never have to take into consideration where the hose is. Very well engineered and manufactured. I took it on one overnight trip - though...

Re: Long Term Care Insurance
I was just told today that my OSA may make me ineligible for LTC insurance. The company (John Hancock) hasn't officially nixed my app yet, but the agent seems doubtful it will go thru. Anyone had experience with OSA disqualifying any kind of insurance?? Hello:LinkC You brought out a good point,abou...

Re: How often to replace Climateline?
I've been using the same Climateline hose for almost a year with no issues i try washing it once with Doc.Bronner's soap and i must admit that it did work well, but i was kind of concern about the effect that the water might have on the electrical contacts of the hose, so i decided to try a different...

Re: Credit Cards At Risk from High-Tech Pickpockets?
Just keep your cards in your tin-foil hat! The way I understand it, each time the RFID is read, the code is changed.. Thus, if they read the existing code on the street, they've just changed it...so the code they have is already obsolete. Did you notice the folks promoting this "scare" and doing th...

Re: How frequently does your sleep specialist follow up?
I have not seen my sleep doctor (pulmonologist) since I started on CPAP 2 years ago. I certainly would call him if I thought I had a problem... thank goodness I don't. Hello I've been on Apap therapy for about 9 month's now and i seen the sleep doc twice, once after the first month of therapy and t...

Re: Zero AHI?
I have the same machine as you. I got AHIs of 0 for about 5 days in a row. My usual AHI is between 1 and 2.8 and I didn't believe the 0 readings. I erased the data on the card and the readings returned to my usual range. I'm guessing your 0 readings are incorrect if they started appearing suddenly ...

Have you check the settings on the machine? Just to make sure that nothing got change when you unplug it,specially the pressure and mask settings.

Re: It IS possible to find the perfect mask
At my lowest I was using a full face mask with a non-Rx MAD, mouth tape and a chin strap - all at the same time - and my numbers still were marginal. I got a glimpse of myself in the bathroom mirror in the middle of the night and was really discouraged. This just didn't seem sustainable. So I start...

Re: Resmed S9 autoset SD card
My question's are how much compliance data does the card stores and what other data could my sleep doc get from my card? The summary data file is what is used for compliance review, i.e. how many hours the mask was on and what days was it used. Here's a complete list of the data in the summary file...
