How do I know if I'm having limb movements? Is a sleep study the only way? I'm constantly moving my le...

Re: Repaying your sleep debt

Right now I'm trying 2400 iu of Vitamin D in the morning and another 2400 at night! Yes, I got sucked into the vit D fad also. Bought a bottle of 400 x 5000 iu about a year ago. Been taking one per day for a year. Have had three colds and no increase in energy. Will finish out the bottle. Yea, I do...

Repaying your sleep debt

Let's assume your sleep debt starts being repayed when you get your leaks and AHI perfected and you're getting atleast 7 hours o...

Testing my poverty appliance with a ghetto sleep study

Has anyone ever put their CPAP pressure on 5 for a night, simply to test out if some other type of treatment decreases their AHI? This is my ghetto way of trying to mimic a sleep study since I don't have health insurance. For example, let's say I want to know if side-sleeping gets rid of my apneas. ...

Re: Pad-A-Cheek mask liner at 16 cm/H20

So is the Pad-A-Cheek mask liner's purpose to add comfort or to create a better seal? I'm confused.

Pad-A-Cheek mask liner at 16 cm/H20

Should I order this for my new Quattro or are higher pressures (I'm at 16) not conducive for its effectiveness?

Re: Can I collect disability?

And how did that go for you? Great! I'm 100% satisfied with every one of my surgical outcomes except one. ... and that one, I'm ~90% Satisfied with. OK, but you do understand that doesn't mean you will feel that way about an apnea-related surgery, right? I mean, that's the kind of thinking that cau...
