Re: DreamWear parts for sale

Please clarify....the under the nose cushion...is that what you have now? There is now a full face cushion available in addition to the under the nose cushion and the gel pillow version. If the images are too big for the forum attachment thing...use imgur how to use imgur... https://sleep.tnet.com/...

Re: Help! Long time user in need of a new mask.

Are you talking about hearing your own breathing? What I call the Darth Vadar sounds or is it something else? It's something I have noticed from time to time and at other times I don't notice it at all. Not sure why unless it is always there and the brain has learned to tune it out. If you are sure...

DreamWear parts for sale

In my quest for a new mask, I bought every possible part for the DreamWear mask to find the correct fit. After finding the best fit, I determined that that mask is too noisy. So I have some leftover pieces that I wasn’t able to return since they were opened. I have the following under the nose cushi...

Re: Help! Long time user in need of a new mask.

I think I have tried pretty much all the nasal pillow masks that came on the market in the last 5 years. The P10 most likely won't work...it tends to run on the small side I think. The DreamWear gel pillows is the only one that I can think of at the moment that might stand a chance of being large e...

Re: Help! Long time user in need of a new mask.

Have you looked at the Respironics DreamWear Gel Pillows mask? While it doesn't have the XLarge size...the large size is quite substantial. I think it tends to run on the larger side of things. https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pr-dreamwear-gel-nasal-pillow-cpap-mask-fit-pack.html Here's a list of s...

Help! Long time user in need of a new mask.

So I just recently discovered that the Breeze Mask/Pillow have been discontinued. (I normally buy 2 or 3 masks a year to have them when it's time to replace) I've been using the Breeze exclusively for the past 8-9 years with an AHI of less than 1 every night. The reason I've been using this is becau...

Re: New Insurance - Help!

If you are already on a BiPap now, I think that requiring a new Sleep Study is just a waste of YOUR time & YOUR money. If you are trying to switch to a BiPap, then another Sleep Study is usually required. But, remember that even if the insurance company would not be requiring another Sleep Study, y...

New Insurance - Help!

I have new insurance as of January 6th this year. I am in need of a new BiPap machine, and my insurance, BCBS of SC, is telling me before they can authorize the rental/purchase of a new machine, I need to have another sleep study done. My last one was 7years ago. Well, the problem with that is, with...

Re: Headaches while using BiPAP

When was the last time your Dr. reviewed your sleep data? it might be time to talk about adjusting your pressures. then again, you may just need new headgear It's been a few years, but I monitor my own data and know when/if there is a problem. Again, my numbers are good, so I don't think it's that....

Re: Headaches while using BiPAP

I have actually, but these headaches started after. I know everyone here isn't a doctor, but I was hoping it could be something simply related to my BiPAP. I will say that my BiPAP is 6 years old in January, but I've never had a problem with it. Could it be it's giving me false readings and not actu...

Headaches while using BiPAP

Hello all. I've been a long time member, but have been absent for the past few years, as my therapy is going well and life has become super busy. I was hoping someone might have some thoughts on this problem I've been having. For probably the past 2-3 months, I've noticed that during the night, whil...

Re: Time to change mask question

If you could try on the Swift LT it would be best. I wear a medium pillow in some nasal pillow masks but a small in the Swift LT is perfect for me. I'm thinking they fit larger. You might be able to use a L in the Swift LT. Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I will have to call my DME provider to se...
