Re: NEW ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask
jimbud and gmsmith, how did y'all guess at what frame size to order? Or did DME do a fitting to make sure size was correct? For me, I'm a big guy and I use the F30, so I used that as a starting point. I went standard frame, wide cushion. It feels really good but seems like I need to tweak the fit a...

Re: NEW ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask
Is it because you still see Mr Smiley for leak management on the LCD screen? Did you know you see Mr Smiley until you are over the red line threshold for 30% or more of the night? Despite all your leak here...adds up to only 25% which is of course less than 30% so you get Mr Smiley. One of the reas...

Re: NEW ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask
I used the F30i last night and it was super comfortable but am seeing some odd results. 1) Oscar is basically showing leaks basically the whole time I was using the mask 2) The machine (AirCurve 10 VAuto) is showing no leak 3) MyAir is showing leaks How does one reconcile the discrepancies? I did a ...

Re: NEW ResMed AirFit F30i full face mask
Mine showed up today as well. I got the medium frame and wide cushion. When I put it on to see how it felt, my immediate reaction was that it felt great. Looking forward to testing it out tonight. I did notice the quick release elbow is different from the F30 model (my go to mask). That isn’t a big ...

Re: Pulse Ox
I guess my concern is my pressure is already super high. I am about 15.5-17 on my apap. My numbers look ok, ahi is under 1 usually, but I’m constantly exhausted. I’m hesitant to go get another sleep study, because I don’t think there’s much more they can do. I had UPPP surgery unsuccessfully and on...

Re: Pulse Ox
I bought a CMS50F from Amazon for about $85 or so a few weeks ago. I don’t use it every night but I do use it to keep an eye on the oxygen levels. It helped find a tweak needed in the settings. I import the data into Oscar (macOS) when I use it and can share the full report with my doc.

Re: Mask ?
I absolutely love my F30, was a game changer for me. After coming back to therapy after a long break, I tried the AirTouch20 at the recommendation of the sleep tech, and it was fine, though a little cumbersome. I tried the F30 after listening to some YouTube reviews, ordered one knowing I could send...

Re: Just got an oxygen concentrator - how do I connect to a ResMed bi-level?
I believe you can use https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... ircurve-10 and then attach the hose from the concentrator to heated hose. There may be other ways to do it as well, but I am only familiar with this one.

Re: Daytime tiredness - Sleep apnia or other issue?
So as with almost anything, context is key, an AHI of 5, if the OP had an AHI of over 150 in their sleep study would cause a doctor to do cartwheels to get the AHI down to 5. That said, having a holistic view of the treatment is important. As palerider said, download Oscar and import your sleep data...

Re: Maxed out on humidity, but still dry & sore
Have you tried introducing a humidifier to the room itself? I have found that if the room itself isn't dry, then I tend to be better. Also, this may be purely coincidental, but if I am well hydrated (80-100oz of water a day) I don't experience dry mouth as much as when I ignore my water during the d...

Re: Transitioning from a P10 to a F30 mask--helpful hints?
The F30 has been a game changer for me. I’ve used nasal pillows in the past and most recently the AirTouch20. Leaks have been very low, I’ve been getting sub 2 AHI (down from 150 during my study) and it has been super comfortable. I have some dry mouth on occasion but had that on other masks as well...

I own both and can confirm the elbows from the F20 and the F30 are the same.
