ResMed Nasal Gel Mask

I have worn a Comfort Classic(Philips) since first diagnosed. I invented the "Oris Perfect Seal" (you can google to check it out); to prevent air leakage from under my moustache. Since researching other options (tired of making the device) it looks like there are other more convenient options. I am ...

Moustache/Mask Follow up

My experience using the Comfort Classic wih my moustache created a problem for me. The wind whistling out from under my moustache would wake me at all hours of the night. The only solution was to tighten the mask to the place it wouldn't leak, subsequently causing my face to hurt. I invented a devic...

Re: CPAP Mask/Moustache

Thanks for taking the time to respond! I really like this forum! My current struggle is catching on to the "lingo". Is there a new person tutorial for this site? It will take me time to absorb and understand my sleep study info. Mostly;when I wake up and get on with my day, a good nights sleep makes...

Re: Mask Question Respironics vs ResMed

I use the "Comfort Classic" by Respironics. It is all I have used for the last 4 + years. It has been a challenge to get used to finding the right tension for the proper seal vs waking up with my face throbbing from being too tight. I never received any advice from the sleep clinic; other than" you"...

CPAP Mask/Moustache

I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea May 8, 2007. At the beginnining my test indicated I needed 10 H2O CPAP pressure. Many nights of the wind storm on my face keeping me awake. Except for good sleep aid perscriptions; I wouldn't have made it. I realized the increase in pressure was to offset the ...
