S9 Auto to Fixed
Does anyone know if I have my 6-13 Auto mode set to 9 fixed and I have events, it will still record the event right? My AHI is below 1 and my 95% pressure is 8.4 over short and long periods. I am just wondering if the machine will still record all of the other data and will just see a flat 9 line fo...

Re: Wake up from pressure
Thanks Jamis and Uncle.
I am going to give it a try tonight and see what happens. I have had the auto and been trying since 9/27/2011.

Re: Wake up from pressure
Hi Jamis, No, no new machine for me. I have the script to change it to fixed 9 and have the instructions to change it to CPAP. I just hesitate making changes. What makes me angry is this is the second sleep doctor who listens to words I say, and never looks at the data. Then just says, hmm maybe you...

Re: struggling to find the answer...
You said you went to bed at the same time every night. Do you also get up at the same time every morning---even on weekends? When's bedtime and when's wake up time? And do you read in bed to relax? 10:30 bedtime, read only on the sofa and bed is only for sleep, ... Let me see if I have this correct...

Re: struggling to find the answer...
Do you have copies of your sleep studies? Do they say anything about limb movements? The report shows movement for about an hour and a half and then goes away for the night, they started when the CPAP was placed on, lasted for an hour, then gone, Sleep study showed in September Sleep efficiency was...

You know your exhausted when.....
When you go upstairs to shave and shower, and that process is usually auto pilot.
You get back downstairs and your wife and daughter ask, did you comb your hair? And you realize you kind of missed that little step!

Temperature or Manual settings for Temp and humidity S9
For those who have the Res Med S9 and the Humidity unit and climate line hose, do you use manual mode or the auto mode and just set Temp? I have had to experiment a bit, my old machine which was an M series, I only used Passover and no heat. I was always comfortable and fine but my pressure was fixe...

Re: AHI Element Differences
If you see other terms on the reports that you are unsure what they mean there is a little Glossary that is being worked on for SleepyHead users. There are some very minor differences in a couple of definitions between ResMed and Respironics but overall the terms are universal. [/url]http://sourcef...

Re: change mask type on S9Autoset
I changed the mask setting from FFM to nasal, but when I checked this morning it was back to FFM. Also I can't find the screen with the AHI of last night. I'm having a hard time finding different screens. Last night when I put on my mask with the climateline hose, I started getting a loud bubbling ...
