Re: Chin strap question (dumb maybe)
Thanks for the comments, guys. I have been using nasal pillows for about 4 years. Got a new machine and became aware after a period of time through the help of my wife and the machine, my lower jaw would drop when I went into deep sleep opening my mouth. I deduced I wasn't a "full time" mouth breath...

Chin strap question (dumb maybe)
I have a need to wear a chin strap and would appreciate opinions from those of you who regularly use one. Which would you put on first - mask or strap?
Thanks
Thanks

How do you folks run your air hose from your machine to your Full Face Mask? Most videos shown on CPAP DOT COM show the hose coming up from from the chest area toward the face - is that the way usually and do you secure the hose any where to the bed or your clothing in addition to the mask?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Using the "MyAir" feature of the AirSense 10 Autoset
Garagelogician, thanks. I'm all set then. Just didn't remember to leave my machine on for the transfer. I've had it on for about an hour - may not get the info now but I'll try. I plan to move on to Sleepy Head later - just got this machine (1st night) and wanted to get everything working in order. ...

Using the "MyAir" feature of the AirSense 10 Autoset
To get last night's data to "MyAir" I know the machine has to be left on for the transfer of data. What menu items must I set to allow the transfer (ie., Airplane mode on or off, etc.)?

Re: EPR setting on AirSense™ 10 AutoSet
Den - You're the man!! Many thanks, my friend. Exactly what I was looking for. i'm going to use the basic feedback until I get used to the machine, but later I may want to look into software I suppose you might be well versed in that area also?
Thanks again, Den!

EPR setting on AirSense™ 10 AutoSet
Are there different settings for EPR on this machine? If yes, how do I get to them if I think I need to adjust? My last machine was an Intellipap with multiple settings. I asked for my new machine to be set to a range of 6cm to 15cm. Can I change that myself if needed? Thanks - going to be my first ...

Re: Anyone used the new DreamStation Auto by Phillips?
Thanks to you guys for your prompt responses to my question. pwgphoto - you may new to CPAP but you gave a spot on report on the DreamStation! Jetsfan - You'll probably like the machine more as time goes by and Phillips will update it from experiences folks like yourself have and report. Jason - You...

Anyone used the new DreamStation Auto by Phillips?
Pardon if this has already been posted but I looked back about 4 pages and didn't see it if it was. I am about ready to pull the trigger on purchasing a New AirSense 10 AutoSet but would like to get some input from any who may have used the DreamStation. There are features I prefer that both do not ...

Re: Dream Wear Mask - My opinion
Hey Guys and Gals - I've read most of your posts here but could find "zero" reviews on the host's site. I used to be one who would try anything to improve my cpap experience but maybe I'm just getting old 'cause I really don't see the need to try this nasal mask for several reasons. 1) You don't get...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Pugsy and all early adopters, I'm curious about two things: 1. Can the hose be run overhead? (TAP PAP does that, and I used to swivel and run the Swift FX hose over my head). 2. What does breath moisture do to the vents in cold weather? --SleepyCPAP I use a Hose Buddy all the time and the AirFit's ...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Another quick review after one night's use.... I still cannot believe the comfort of this appliance. I separated the strap so one went on top and the other behind my head and be dog if both did not stay in place all night. The wife says I slept facing her, away, and on my back for short periods and ...

Re: Reviews of new AirFit P10 Resmed nasal pillow mask thread
Just got mine on the front porch and have played around with it a bit. Looks like I will be able to sleep on my right side as well as my left due to the negligible exhaust pressure - going to be able to point it right at the missus with no complaints (I hope). Don't have an extremely large head but ...

The last item I got, Pugsy, came via USPS and took eight days. I requested FX this trip. I'm still liking the Aloha but can't seem to be able to resist trying new Resmed stuff

Re: New Resmed Air Fit nasal pillows
Thanks, Hawthorne - just hoping someone might have experience with it prior to my receiving mine. Others thoughts do matter when you purchase; ie., if a mask is rated 2 stars, you wouldn't jump on the phone and order one now, would you?
