Re: Anyone using pulse oximeters for monitoring sleep apnea?
Yes I have used a CMS50D+ ever since I started my CPAP Therapy. Being a runner I was used to Heart Rate Monitors and Oximeters. So before I enter the World Of CPAP I already had some equipment on hand. What I regret is that I had all this equipment for years and never thought about using it while I ...

Re: [Poll] Rating the different "generations" of cpap models
In trying to purchase another ResMed attachment one of their Representatives and I sort of crossed swords so to speak. I just received a S9 AutoSet that was made in Hong Kong, but the representative at ResMed said all of their products were made in Australia. When I told the representative that my S...

CPAP and Working ???
To wrap up some old business I did receive a S9 AutoSet™ with H5i™ Heated Humidifier and Climate Line tubing from my DME yesterday and it seems to be doing just fine. I have to say that I was impressed with my DME's willingness to listen to what I had to say about this and that while knowing full we...

Re: F&P Machines and leak rates
MS Gray Man I'm very new to this, but I too have zeroed in on the Leak Rate Graph of my Daily Sleep Data Chart. I have leak all over the Graph. I also think that one would first have to get their Mask Leaks under control before any of their other Sleep Data would be any use to them whatsoever. I tak...

Re: Flow Rate Graph - Now I See It and then Now I Don't
Pugsy, You were on top of this one also. I downloaded my Data this morning and the Flow Rate Data Graph was on the Chart, along with 5 other Graphs that I really hadn't noticed before. Res. Rate, Tidal Volume, Minute Vent., Insp.Time, Exp. Time Pugsy if you know of a book/video that explains all the...

Pugsy, left this out of my note to you a minute ago.
I did look in the PO folder that you suggested and yes the file ext. .005 was there on the days that the Flow Rate Data Downloaded.
Again Thanks!

Re: Flow Rate Graph - Now I See It and then Now I Don't
Pugsy that's the Problem. I usually just insert the SD Card sometime during the Day. Most of the time the cards not in the machine when it running. I will make sure that the card is in the machine tonight before I turn it on. I'll also let you know tomorrow if that's was the problem. Again my Thanks...

Flow Rate Graph - Now I See It and then Now I Don't
Hey Everybody. I'm a little confused as to why my Flow Rate Graph shows up some mornings when I download my Nightly CPAP Data to my Computer, and at other times it doesn't. I don't do anything differently, but between the Event Graph Strip and the AHI Graph Strip at times I see my Flow Rate Graph, a...

Is there a CPAP Device with and On-Board Oximeter
I was thinking. I'm wearing an Oximeter and downloading my daily, or in this case my nightly sleep period data, along with my oximeter data. What would be wrong with Respironic's, ResMed, and other CPAP Companies to include or attach an oximeter with their Devices? I would also like to use a wireles...

Re: Farts!
Although I'm not sure what could be causing you to have such a bad case of night vapors, my guess would be that you are swallowing air while you are sleeping. You didn't give too many details but I would think that if you were using a Nasal Mask, and you were not swallowing air there wouldn't be any...

What does % of PB mean?
I'm new to all of this and with Pugsy's help I have been able to upload the software where I can now download my CPAP Data. In doing so I am running into Sleep Charts that I now don't understand. One of the Charts deals with "% of PB". I don't have a clue as to what that means. I have looked on the ...

Recordable Oximeter - Inexpensive and Works!
I just started using an CPAP Device and I am a record keeper, so I had to have a recordable oximeter. My CPAP device has certainly improved the quality of my restful sleep. With funds being short I finally found an Oximeter on ebay that cost me $43.25, including shipping cost, and it works Great. It...
