Re: Antibaterial UV light in S9 H5i
For some strange reasion, I have the "chill" and"fever" tracks from dr. Mario going through my head. The Only thing we are doing with all this blasted "germaphobib" is letting the strongest germ survive. Here is my feeling. Only use distilled watter. If upu can afford a home distiller, then make you...

Covered Cali..
So I now have a cornered California plan through blue shield. As far as I can tell I have only one "approved" DME for cpap supplies (Apriea) within 100 miles of San Diego. So I am wondering if I go in and to one of their stores for a new mask what kind of garbage can I expect to encounter. I don't r...

Re: Accuracy on leak rates? ReScan or SleepyHead
I think I have seen a similar question before. I think the variance you see in the 2 has to do with the "expected leak rate" of a given mask. I think resscan will subtract the leek that naturally comes from the exhaust ports of your mask. As I have a brick I can't tell you if there is a setting in s...

Re: How many hours a night do you sleep poll
Just checked the run time average on my brick and it states almost 6 hours So with initial sleep latency of about an hour you can do the math. No where near where I need it to be. half tempted to spend the money for the cable at our hosts site to see what is there beyond run time on this FP 234. but...

Wish I had seen that before I flew last time. But I bet I still would have left that pack of big red gum in my back pocket.

Re: How Much Do You Trust Your DME?
Well as of 1 jan 2014 it looks like I no longer have a DME. Well at least in network. The DME I had is not listed under my covered California plan. So I get to pick a new DME.
And as for the last DME no trust at all

Re: OT: Multivitamins waste of money
Also don't forget that the "patent" drug industry has no love of anything that they can't patent. Who knows there were were most likely articles dough ting the medical efficacy of citrus in preventing scurvy. The reality is most of us are deficient in vitamin levals. I do know from talking to my pri...

Basically my experinc matches krstyms's. At home study. Titration at a "sleep center" and a short overview of my brick from my DME.

Re: iPad or PC tablet...
Skip all the rt tablets as these do not run intell compatible processors. Just think of rt as an overgrown phone. As long as the system is running "real windows" you should be fine. I just picked up a dell over the weekend. Although it does have a cf slot the 32 gig card in there. Will never be remo...

Re: ResScan Software 4.3 and Win 8.1
I would give the install in win 8.1 about an 8/10. the only minor issue i am seeing is that the installer does not appear to have created a shortcut to the program executable.
the executable file for resscan is ResScan.exe
located in the flowing directory.
C:\Program Files (x86)\ResMed\ResScan3

Re: ResScan Software 4.3 and Win 8.1
Sadily I don't have a resmed machine or the software. I do however have win 8.1 on my machine. If anyone can pm me the link for the software I can test the installer.
