Re: Noisy Dream Station GO

I have recently purchased and started using the DreamStation for the house and the DreamStation Go while traveling. I did a little testing while at the house with the Go and found that without the humidifier there is more noise through the hose than with. When I tried it at the house without the hum...

Re: Dreamstation Go data

Yes to the first if you are using the app. I don’t know about sleepyhead. I had an issue with my new DreamStation Go and registering it on the app, I think it was so new that they didn’t have the serial number in the system yet. I emailed support through the app and they took care of it the next day...

Re: Upgrade CPAP machine advice

McShane78, I too had been looking at upgrading my old machine, PR 60 series System One and finally went with the DreamStation Auto. I am on my third night and so far so good. I have less leaks from my nasal pillows using the smaller tubing and sleeping better. Only time will tell if this works but I...

First, welcome this is a great place for advice, information, and support. Second, from one newbie to another, I have been doing this for just over 1 month now, I would start at the top section of the home page and start reading. Re: One month update

My bad nights are when I don't sleep well, wake up multiple times, or just wake up feeling like I had not slept. I have not been able to identify what causes the above yet. I keep a log so I can find out what my settings are for a given nite, how I felt when I woke up, and the number of times I woke...

Re: Mask and machine advice please

I camp, well in a trailer out in the middle of a mountain, during the summer. I cannot give first hand advise as I have only had my APAP since this January. I looked into the S9 but went with the PR system 560, only required a DC plug that cost me $25 like teleute said above. Just make sure you foll...

Re: Cpap Trial - How long till I should notice a change?

Others with more experience will reply as well.... There is not set rule on how long it will take to feel better. The big problem that needs to be fixed is taking your mask off, if your not wearing it all night you will not benefit from the treatment as much... I found wearing my nasal pillows with ...

Re: Change in pressure and a question about it....

Jen, From your print out it looks like we started xPAP about the same time. I fought for APAP, Dr script was for CPAP set at 9. Anyways, were you feeling better for the 15 days prior to the change? If so, tell your Dr on Monday when you see him/her and that the setting look like they have been chang...

Re: Newbie -- specifics help to get started quick

Hello, this is a great place to find information. I started at the home page, top section has a lot of info. Try this link as well: http://tinyurl.com/2arffqx. The are a few others I just don't have them handy. Make sure that whatever machine you get has full data recording, not just compliance data...

Re: raw nose/nostrils

I am also starting my second week. I had the same problem you described in your post. I am using Swift FX nasal pillows and found myself adjusting the tightness every night during the first week. It really irritated one of my nostrils. I used the nasal mask I used during my split study for one night...
