Excited for my first night :D
I'm so excited, I finally got my machine today. I got to the DME and they had everything situated and ready to go in a handy case. I was disappointed however, that they had already picked my machine and had drawn up the paperwork and everything prior to my arrival and didn't ask my input. My hesitat...

Re: I got my CPAP Titration results back
I'm excited, I leave in a few minutes for my DME appointment at Airway Oxygen. I'm not sure how all this works...will I bring home a machine today? Or will it have to be ordered or something and even more waiting take place? Julie, unfortunately, I can't really sleep very long on my side due to neck...

Re: I got my CPAP Titration results back
You seem to be missing a page from your titration study. Their should be a page that lists the pressures used, the test times, and the number of events at each pressure. The summary pages look about the same. You lightly snore when you sleep on your back, and it restricts your airway a bit. Is this...

I got my CPAP Titration results back
Ok, I just got my CPAP Titration study results back. I have had no one to tell me what any of this means, as I've not talked to my sleep doctor since my initial consultation. Both times I took an Ambien to help me fall asleep, though that's not something I take every night, usually it's a combo of b...

Re: CPAP Titration study followed by delirious behavior
I actually took myself off all my depression/bipolar meds over a year ago because they weren't helping any of my problems and I didn't care for the on going side effects. I feel much better off them I don't think I should have been on them in the first place. I've had some major sleep deprivation fo...

CPAP Titration study followed by delirious behavior
So, I had my CPAP Titration study on Thursday (night before last) and I woke up feeling tired but not can't-open-my-eyes tired like most mornings. I only had a 6hr block to sleep and I don't know how long I actually did, but that gave me a bit of hope that this will help me. I won't know my results ...

Re: Help me figure this out?
Its time for my CPAP Titration, idk why but I'm nervous Looks like I have to choose my DME now from a very short list. Not sure what my insurance covers or what's in the area. I've been reading to avoid Lincare and Apria, heck my tech even said, yeaaa I wouldn't go with them, they get a lot of compl...

Re: Help me figure this out?
I've been seeing my chiro for 10 years now, and the funny thing is, he said the same thing about wanting me to get the CT/MRI...so he referred me to a specialist to get the MRI who blew me off completely (talked like he was on speed and spent a whole 10 min moving my arm around with me crying out in...

Re: Help me figure this out?
Yeah, part of my problem with positioning is I kind of have to sleep on my back. I have chronic back/neck problems dating back to a high school injury and whiplash from a car accident. My neck is kind of curved forward (not visibily, but you can see it in an xray) and I've been getting chiropractic ...

Help me figure this out?
Hey all, I just started looking into CPAP and found this wonderful forum and I figured, perhaps they could give me a little insight. Let me give a really shortened version of my "story" as a precursor. I'm sorry in advanced for being so long winded. Started about a decade ago, I went to a doctor bec...
