Re: Boiling Stuff Part 2
After reading this helpful thread, I dunked and swished my Quattro Air cushion into a shallow layer of sub-boiling distilled water/baking soda solution because the package notes that the temperature rating is below 80 C. Also rinsed with distilled water. That did seem to refresh the silicone, but po...

OT: humid air - less comfortable and less dense?
Hi, I have a FFM and have found that when the relative humidity is 70% and higher, it's harder to breathe with the mask. (During the spring when the relative humidity was at 50%, I found I could leave the humidifier tank dry and the air was comfortable.) I have seen some posts mentioning solutions b...

Re: Smart Start and Stop on Airsense S10
While I don't use Smart start and stop, I have noticed that when I set the humidity to 0, the machine does not continue to run on low fan mode after I turn it off.

Re: Airsense Software Upgrade Out Now
How do I know if I received an upgrade? My humidifier won't work now for some reason. I just checked the software and have version SX 556-0204 (Humidifier only) SW-SX567-0302 (I assume is the main unit software??) Mine was brand new in February, and has been working perfectly until the last 2 night...

Re: Poll: Length of time on xPAP before feeling 90-100% restored
This poll tells exactly what? ... It takes from 1 to 18+ months to feel restored. It was helpful to me to re-set expectations. I thought I would be 'brand new' after one month... Also, I appreciated the capsule narratives folks shared because it provided some real life context. I'm no statistician ...

Re: Airsense Software Upgrade Out Now
That's true.
I took a chance to connect periodically based on the reports of other post-ers, who reported that upgrades happened the first time connected to the network. Small sample size...

Re: Airsense Software Upgrade Out Now
I'd say it was connected to the cellular network typically 3-4 consecutive nights, approximately 5 times throughout the two months. I generally did not leave it on standby mode during the day with the exception of a few days. I'm not using Climateline so I will just carry on! Thanks. Just thought it...

Re: other Airsense questions / issues
Thanks, folks! The dual filter approach is working for me... Now that I see the black particles being filtered, I wonder if I can find a way to breathe filtered air for the other 16 hours a day? :/ Here are a few more Airsense questions / issues: 1. The side of the unit that the filter and SD card a...

Re: Airsense Software Upgrade Out Now
I have a hunch that my unit will remain upgrade-less. I talked to the seller, and this unit was for sale in another country although it is a US spec product. I imagine that Resmed tracks those serial numbers and is ignoring my unit. I'll likely be support-less if there's a warranty issue; at least ...

Re: another Airsense issue
Thanks. I'll look into the auto on/off. Didn't know that existed! Here's another issue for feedback from other folks. Allegedly, the Airsense hypoallergenic filters are replaced once every 6 months. But, here is a photo of it at 1.75 months with dark splotches. Is this what other folks are seeing? A...

other Airsense questions / issues
Hi folks, I've noticed in the past 2 weeks that I am seeing big gaps in data ranging from 1 hour to 3 hours in my Sleepy Head program. Sometimes I see the leak rate graph zoom up -- so perhaps the mask moved? Other times, there is no such increase in the graph... Any ideas? Perhaps the mask is getti...

I've been going the lazy way, and I think it's led to an issue with nasal congestion... How about hydrogen peroxide? Is that safe/effective for killing off biofilm?

Re: Just ordered sleepweaver anew full face mask. Any reviews?
I wonder if they use a one size fits all headgear? I feel like the headgear is too large for me. I really really wanted to like it. The large and medium masks come with the same headgear. The small has its own headgear. If you look at the replacement parts guide, you can confirm this for yourself. ...
