Re: Any hybrid mask (or glasses wearing) users w/ high pressure?

Oh dear. While the full face mask felt comfortable it has left red marks on my face. I hope they fade before I have to go to work. I wonder if it was because I was wearing it incorrectly.

Re: Any hybrid mask (or glasses wearing) users w/ high pressure?

I'm in my second week of using CPAP. I used a nasal pillow mask last week, but there seemed to be leaks, and I kept breathing through my mouth which of course is a leak. So now I am trying a full face mask tonight for the first time. The nice thing is that I an wear glasses with this mask, and am we...

Re: Service Dogs For Sleep Apnea?

Visions of large big cheeked bloodhound standing over you at night blowing in your mouth to act as a splint whenever you stop breathing. Just give him a mint before bed and Shazam! the ultimate APAP, BiPaP, humidifier and mask all-in-one! So much easier. Mask is only applied when needed. DME just s...

Re: First Night...can't sleep.

Thank you for all your replies. I'm on my 4th night now. Still having trouble sleeping. However I have the humidity turned up tonight since for the last two nights my nose and throat were terribly dry. I think I'm wearing the pillow mask correctly. It is just sort of resting on my nose, but my nose ...

Re: Tricks to fall asleep

I'm reading this forum in bed on a Samsung tablet to try to get to sleep. Not working so far. I'm new to CPAP and have a lot to learn.

Re: Resmed policy - important to Snowbirds

I just started CPAP a few days ago. This is my 4th night so I don't know much. I am using a Resmed machine on a trial basis, and I'm in Canada so Resmed definitely sells machines in Canada . It says in the instructions to change the water every day and wash all the parts, I dumped the water out in t...

First Night...can't sleep.

I'm using CPAP for the first time. I'm in bed , typing this on my tablet with the brightness turned down. My main concern, apart from not being able to sleep, is that my nose will permanently look like a pig's snout by morning , since I have "pillows" stuffed in my nostrils. I'm also a bit worried a...
