Re: Back on a CPAP machine, Sleepyhead data. Tired during the day.
Hey Pugsy. I was looking at my old post and it seems that on my old machine my minimum pressure was 7. I'm going to put it up from 6 to 7. Probably go 6.5 and then after a couple days go to 7. Up until about 3 weeks ago, I would take Ambien for sleep. Problem with me is that its hard for me to fall ...

Back on a CPAP machine, Sleepyhead data. Tired during the day.
http://i65.tinypic.com/o7pppw.png So I was on Cpap and lost my machine about 2 years ago when I lost my insurance. Got better insurance and was able to get another machine. I have had it for about 8 months now. Everything was going great but suddenly I have been feeling tired during the day again. ...

Should I put up my min pressure?
Some of you might now I lost my machine due to insurance issues. My mom left to Spain to see my sister for 2 weeks so she told me to use her as my sister has her a machine up there for when she visits. My mom has the S9 Autoset so I said cool let me use sleepyhead and see were Im at. I used my mom m...

Re: Best Cheap CPAP Machine?
well they are coming to get my S9 tomorrow and it seems they are taking the blower and humidifier. Lady told me I could keep the hose and mask since that is not being rented out by my insurance. So yea time to hit up CL and see what goodies I can find. Also @zoocrewphoto I think I will be doing some...

Re: Best Cheap CPAP Machine?
They will most likely only take the blower. Everything else is usually a purchase, not a rental. Check the craigslist in your area. I found my Resmed S9 autoset for only $200. I have seen others for $150-400. The cheaper ones usually go faster. I saw several before I was able to get the one I got. ...

Re: Best Cheap CPAP Machine?

Little worried about buying a used machine but I guess I should be me worried about dying from our condition. Ok so I am sold, going the craigslist route. Thanks ...

Re: New to CPAP: Is the Resmed Airsense 10 supposed to be noisy?
to be honest this is pretty much what I hear when I lay down. Thought I was going crazy because it started as soon as I changed my pillows from Med to small. It seems that I am the only one that hears it but I guess its because I sleep closer to the machine than my wife but she claims that there are...

Turning machine on and off and H5i humidifier light
ok so last night I turned on my machine to go to bed and the machine was not on a minute when my mom called me that she had left her keys in her house. So i turned off the machine but noticed that the humidifier light stayed on orange and the screen said cooing down or something to that affect. I we...

Re: Does the CPAP machine know when we are sleeping?
Thank you all for your help with this. I am going to call my DME tomorrow and see if they will change it since it's only been 18 days since I have the machine. I'm kind of stuck with this DME as the doc told me that this was the only DME that worked with my insurance.. Will let you guys/gals know ho...

Re: Does the CPAP machine know when we are sleeping?

Today will be the first and hopefully last day I sleep without my machine since I got it on the 10th of this month. Oh well cant dread over this because...
