Re: Battery backup for my cpap
Look at your CPAP specs one for watts, for regular and one for with humidity (about 2x) pick yours and figure out how many hours you want to use it to get sleep 8?10? multiply the watts from the first line by the number of hours and get watt hours (battery speak) if you are using a source that uses ...

Re: Need Help! Memory loss and brain fog for 10 year CPAP user at age 32
suggestion. what machine do you use? install the Oscar software (free) and collect some data. read the article on how to format your charts and then post them. all of this will help get you help. You have given your sleep study results but say nothing about what your machine is saying. Once we know ...

Re: Thread for Losers and Trolls to Post In
Oh I am so very glad I left here, such massive stupidity-I guess it needs a home. Stunning that so many think they are the smart ones and prove to others just how little they understand. Not even going to join in, pointless. Now call me a troll and say good night.

Re: Amara View Full Face Mask
I use that mask and love it. Takes some getting used to though: 1. it is very sensitive to adjusting the straps, 1/8 inch at a time 2. that little strip of silicon by the breathing hole is supposed to sit flat against your upper limp and not flat under your nose 3. after I put the mask on and start ...

Re: Looking for some advice on the Amera View
Some things I have learned: 1. as Grayghost said, the end of the mask "cup" goes just over the tip of your nose 2. the nose is sealed by inflating around the edges of your nose and not by pressing up from underneath 3. as with most masks, it is quite sensitive to strap pressure, adjust 1/8" at a tim...

Sorry Robysue, I didn't mean to steal your post. if you notice that in quoting your post one of the first lines in the quote is "test". I was searching on yahoo for information and it listed this thread and when I clicked on the link it opened asking me to submit YOUR post, I added the test and clic...

It was bumped to the top for some reason and I honestly didn't look at the date. Sorry, not trying to start any more trouble on this forum than there already is. I only come around once in a while so I will get out of here. I'll get out of here sorry for this. Don't worry about it, Too tall. Many h...

Re: POLL: Who Are My Foes?
Wow this made me laugh! An old thread resurrected from before I was here, talking about the same thing we are now. funny how some of the names are the same, on both sides of the argument. Since I don't know many of them it would be interesting to know how many of those left and which side they were ...

Re: Heightened Smell / Smelling Bad Things
Interesting. There have been a couple threads about smelling things when first taking the mask off, but not throughout the day. It would not surprise me, CPAP is messing with anything that involves breathing and smelling. I can't see how an infection would only be noticed in the afternoon, but I am ...

First time I have seen that and it made me smile. Yes no moderation except self moderation. Is there any self moderation going on? This is a public place, anyone can come here. This is not a private home or a bar. In fact it is a friends house, Johnny Goodman. He has invited us here and asked us to ...

Re: can an APAP approximate a biPAP for a trial period?
I started with APAP with EPR set to 3 and changed to BiLevel (VPAP) and set exhale relief to 4 and this was all I needed to tolerate the machine, until I found out that I also had COPD
