Hi all - would someone mind please letting me know the cost of these in the US at the moment?
I trialed on in Australia today - I'd love one, but pretty pricey. I'm US bound soon, so might be something I could pick up while over!
Appreciate your help as always!

Thanks all - that's what I was thinking and, yea, noted the price difference!
I'll see how it goes for a while - thanks again.

Philips hose
Hey all - I'm using the dreamstation. I noticed a small hole in the tubbing, so ordered a new one on Amazon (while taping up the old one as a temporary fix). My new hose has arrived - but it doesn't have the same connection into the machine (it is just like a rubber end rather than the actual connec...

Re: First real night with CPAP. Constantly woken by machine.
Keep checking in Sarah and let us know how you're going - once you settle into it, you'll be sleeping like a baby (although I hope not like either of my two babies as neither were particularly good sleepers!). Again, I'm no expert, but looking at the pressure movement on your graphs - you can kinda ...

Re: First real night with CPAP. Constantly woken by machine.
Hey Sarah - I am defo no expert, but I agree with the guys. 4 - 20 is a massive pressure differential - in my (minimal) experience, you want to start homing that down to a range of like 2-3. I started on 6 - 16 (I think) - my average was sitting around the 7s/8s, but I knew that wasn't high enough. ...

100th post - just for newbies
Well - it seems I've managed to clock up 99 posts on here during my journey, so I might try to make the 100th a bit different! It might be a bit of a long post - so here's the summary: - I was terrified of CPAP; - I read this forum daily for months; - my AHI was pretty low at sleep study (less than ...

Welcome Sarah - so nice to see a fellow Scot on here!
Good luck with it all - it's certainly a journey but (generally) a fun one!

Dreamstation shipping to Aus
Hey all - any suggestions for an Amazon seller that'll ship to Aus?
I had one last year - but he/she doesn't seem to be doing it any more
Cheers

Re: Newbie and all the anxiety
I just got a call from Apria and I'll be able to pick up my CPAP on Friday!! Good luck!! May Friday night be the turning point in all of this (albeit it may take some time to get used to it/get the correct set-up etc.). Looking forward to hearing how you get on and how you feel over the weekend - b...

Happy Birthday you!!! You've been inspirational for me on my CPAP journey, and I only hope you realise just what a difference you make to us newbies, who arrive in the forum as anxious as could be about the thought of CPAP and leave feeling like different people! Have a very happy birthday - and tha...

Re: Should I be on CPAP?
What lousy help the dr/sleep tech has given you - jeeeees, no wonder people end up with no idea what's going on to them!! I think you've came to the right place however! You're results are very similar to my sleep study results (my RDI and AHI were a bit higher, but my AHI was still under 5). I stru...

Re: Asking a huge favor!
However, is it possible that even though the machine is on and you are tethered to it, you're not really sleeping a lot of the time? Being awake (or in a less deep sleep) could explain a lower AHI and also explain feeling rotten! Hey D.H. - possibly, I was certainly at least sort of sleeping (as I ...

I will do - and I'll take a sleepy head dump to see if there is anything different jumping out.
