Re: Therapy help, recently been extremely tired
Is there any particular reason the machine is set to max IPAP of 11? It is bumping up against the upper limit all night long. Try raising the upper limit. If it were me, I would simply set the upper lii to 20 and see where the machine goes. After a couple nights, you will be able to tell how much pr...

Re: mask liner alter the fit of the mask?
Make sure the mask liner does not cover the holes under your nose. I use a mask liner and I had to enlarge the hole in the liner so it didn't block the hole in the mask.

Re: CPAP while sick with the cold or flu
I have used my machine during asthma attacks, bronchitis, and the flu. I need the additional air flow in order to get enough oxygen while sleeping.

Re: Can you check my OSCAR data please ?
I recommend you Raise your mas pressure to at least 15. It may never get that high. Your machine will only go as high as it needs to. Raise you minimum pressure to 6, or 7. Try those setting for a few nights and see how things look.

Re: DME charging for Brevida exhalation port
When the DME bills the insurance companies, they always bill each mask component as if it was being purchased by itself. That way, they can get a little more money. The total price actually paid by the insurance company is less than what you would pay if you purchased the mask outright.

Re: Evora Full Face Mask Hose Joint Leakage multiple Units.
My wife and I have both been using this mask since it first came out and we have had no problems with them. Are you getting leakage whee the hose snaps onto the mask frame? Could it be a tear in the hose caused by rough handling?

Re: Need help with Mask AirFit F30i Full Face CPAP
A mask liner might help extend the life of the cushion since it would soak up the oils from your skin and the mask liner can be easily removed and washed. I use Xylamelts when sleeping, and often drool during the night. The mask liner soaks up the drool and saves a lot of wear and tear on the mask c...

Re: New CPAP user
If you are talking about redness across the bride of your nose, you can try using a piece of mole skin on your nose. I did that when using a different mask a few years ago. You can find mole skin at Walmart or your local drug store in the foot care area.

Check your local Facebook Marketplace. I found my backup machine that way. I often see several machines listed in this area.

Re: F&P Evora Full Face Mask
There is flexible flap located in the mask frame right above where the hose connects. This is the antiaphyxiation valve.

My wife and I both used the ResMed AirFit F20 for two or three years without having major leaks. You can also look at the ResMed AirSoft F20 with the foam around the edge of the cushion.

1. You can not get access to the cloud data from your machine. Some of it can be seen by members of the medical community, but it is not available to the users. 2. There is limited data stored in the machines memory. This is similar to the information you see using MyAir. 3. You can only view the de...

In the past, he has made claims that he sleeps only three hours a night. If I did that, I wouldn't be able to sit still more than five minutes without falling asleep.

Re: Confused regarding Mask/Tubing/Humidifier Tub Cleaner
When I first started treatment, I used baby shampoo to clean my equipment with. After about a year of using the shampoo, I decided to just use dish soap and have been doing that for the last seven years.

Re: Journey to Optimizing my CPAP Settings!
I would recommend an increase in your minimum pressure to 9. If you feel that is too much of a change, try it it at 8. You bumped up against our upper limit a few times, but it was for a short period of time each time. I would leave the upper limit where it is for now.
