Which way should I put it on ? and do they have a hole ?ChicagoGranny wrote: ↑Wed Jun 02, 2021 12:51 pmhttps://www.amazon.com/JJ-CARE-Sleeping ... ref=sr_1_7
Does anyone here use these? They are about half the price of Somnifix. They look so big they would need trimming. That would be a pain.

Re: Product defect: information from Philips Respironics
And I thought that these machines had filters and that the air we breath in is pure and clean - ?
lucky us, lungs are well equipped with hairs and mucous which bring up these particles we then swallow or spit out.

You may try to lower the Max pressure to 14.
On rare occasion the high pressure can trigger CA (Central Apnea).

your machine does not record any events. Have you been tested ? or how do you know you have apnea problems ?

Hi DJM, have you tried to do the 100 feet with your CPAP ? (you may need an extension cord)
If it is the same as without it may not be your CPAP.

Re: How to prevent drooling with a full face mask?
Check if the drooling is not some water condensation in the hose or mask. Try reducing the relative humidity set on the CPAP.
I had the opposite, my mouth dries out with CPAP it stopped the drooling.

Drill holes in it, at least it is what I would do. You have to convince your self, not us. Like Froggy wrote.

Re: The smells are killing me
One can get used to the smell it will slowly reduce as the sensory receptors will saturate. It can take a long time and if you take it off over the day it will be the same problem every night. :( You may try to keep the mask (often the worst smelling) next to you and try to slowly get used to it. It...

You are on CPAP for 3 years and no improvement ?
Please get a general checkup. Something else might be wrong.
Give some information about your history, medication, accidents, what ever and ask questions.

Re: Should I mention this to our sleep specialist
I had those to, specially in the beginning under APAP. I had 20 to 50 min total time in apnea over 8 to 9 hour. They reduced when I started with VPAP. They still show up but less. Your wife has 20 min total time in apnea over 4 h sleep. I would mention it. If you figure out something I sure would li...
