Perfectly reasonable if your machine settings, mask type, and mask fit are dialed-in.
Either you're breathing well or you're not; it's not like you're waiting for a new medicine to build up a concentration in your body.

Re: Options for moving from Nasal to FFM
For the first time in 2 weeks, I used my old N20 mask again just to see if my original thoughts would still hold. I slept for 7 hours last night, my AHI was <1. Both typical for me. I wanted to be mindful of minimizing leak rate so I made sure mask was not loose. Leak rate was 49 L/min! Worst part i...

Re: Options for moving from Nasal to FFM
I thought it would be helpful to share an update with this group. Received the F40 about a week and a half ago, ordered from our hosts, and been using it nightly: Much more comfortable than F30. Straps do not need to be as tight as F30 to get a good seal. Good seal, leaks are less than 5L per minute...

Re: Machine Turned Off Last Night
I had this happen to me with my Airsense 10 a couple of times. I surmised that the issue was with the Resmed ac adapter. It only happened twice over a multi year period. Both times, the machine shut off in the middle of the night, house had electricity, outlet had electricity, but the green light in...

Re: If you have ever considered a backup battery for your cpap
This is a great thread! I am definitely in need of one of these backup batteries. Was looking at both the Ecoflow River 2 499Wh for $300 and the larger Delta 2 1024WH for $500. These larger & more capable batteries have come down to much more affordable levels from even just a year or two ago. I'm g...

Re: Options for moving from Nasal to FFM
I deal with chronic congestion related to allergies / post nasal drip. You shouldn't be dealing with that. Please schedule a consultation with an ENT and get a treatment plan. There are several good options for treatment. Been on a long term regimen from the ENT, it just has not been effective . Ju...

Re: Dry Lips - No Dry Mouth
I just got my CPAP about a week ago and the last couple of days I've been waking up with pretty dry lips but my mouth is still fairly moist. I'm using the AirFit N20 nasal mask with ResMed 11 on auto settings from 4-20. I have a heated hose and humidifier with ramp on. Just using the settings my ma...

Re: Options for moving from Nasal to FFM
As a first step before moving to an FFM, I would try mouth tape. I've known this was an option, but wanted to avoid since I deal with chronic congestion related to allergies / post nasal drip. I was looking at the Knights bridge chin strap last weekend online but decided to to give the F30 another ...

Options for moving from Nasal to FFM
Been on CPAP for 7.5 years. In the first few months I jumped around between masks experimenting. Resmed Airfit N20 in medium has been my tried and true for most of my CPAP experience. Almost perfect. I am a side sleeper, I like to bury my face into the pillow. Last few months, DW has called out sign...

Re: getting sores on my nose issue
I didn't always get this but lately I have been getting these weird sores on my nose and wondered if the latex or rubber used in the mask causes this. The nasal component doesn't really touch that part of my nose but I suppose when I bury the side of my head in a pillow it could rise up and touch t...

Re: Airsense 10 AutoSet on sale for $208 for Black Friday on cpap.com
Just saw this on the deal page... People falling over each other for this deal: Note that these are REFURBS, not new, and not even certified by Resmed, so the quality level will be a crapshoot when it comes to who did the refurb work, and while the price is OK, it's not to die for. Hart Medical sel...

Try code spookydeals. It will take $91 off bringing it down to $308.
I read on another forum that the BF23 code was not supposed to stack on top of the $399 discounted price. Thankfully, my order shipped.

Re: Question for the side sleepers
I'm a side sleeper and the Resmed Airfit N20 has been the best mask for me for several years now.

Saw this on Slickdeals this morning and ordered the AS10 + heated tube for $240 shipped! Price is too good to ignore, even if you already have a decent backup.
