Re: ResMed AirFit F30i vs. F30?
Thanks for all who shared their thoughts and experiences, all very helpful and appreciated. I think I'm going to give the F30i a go and see how it works. It sounds like the diffusers are the same, the tubing isn't high maintenance, top connection is quick release, can be good for hose management, an...

ResMed AirFit F30i vs. F30?
I'm trying to decide between the F30i vs. F30 and would appreciate any feedback from folks that have experience with both. I'm currently using the Amara View and I'm specifically looking for feedback related to noise and air blasting a sleeping partner with the Resmeds. I had read that the hollow tu...

Re: Amara view and a chin strap?
If your sleep doc is an orthopod or neuro-muscular specialist, I would give it due consideration. Mine's a pulmonologist, so not so much in the neck muscle/nerves area. I've had extensive experiences with cervical spine orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and lots of experience with collars (hence, m...

Re: Amara view and a chin strap?
I've used a chin strap with the Amara View with mixed results. It worked sometimes, but usually it slid around on the top of my head, which made it slide fore and aft under my chin. I had the same experience as you describe with dry mouth, which you can definitely get with a FFM regardless of humidi...

Re: Trouble, Trouble, Trouble
The Amara View does take some adjusting, and it may simply not be the mask for you for any number of reasons, but I like it quite a bit. Your description does indicate that it is fitted way too tight. It's designed to fit lightly and seal based on the air expanding the cushion. You should be able to...

Re: Best tips that you received from this board?
Thanks so much! I'm a bit curious how you answered before I finished typing, but I know better than to question wizards. Not intending to blow smoke at you, but you've been immensely helpful to my learning. I've been a long-time reader and started my apnea trek in 2011. It's not likely I'll post any...

Sorry to take this thread to the side for a minute, but would someone please explain or point me to information on the "foe" button?
