Does anyone know if there is a way to turn down the high end side of the air flow with "autoP" on the above machine? Man, I've posted here before and I did buy a new ...

Re: Worst night yet
I don't know about Dreamstation, but with the ResMed Airsense 10 Autoset that I use, you need to tell the machine which kind of mask you-re using - FFM, Nasal, or Nasal Pillows. I wonder if that would make a difference for you? It does have a setting for mask type, but I'm not sure what it means. I...

CPAP may not help. Have you received treatment for the chronic fatigue syndrome? You need to ask your doctors what else can be done. Best of luck to you. Yes I am going to an ortho molecular doctor next week. And beginning next month I am going 3 times a week to a center for chronic fatigue syndrom...

Re: Resmed S9 Face wash
Look at that maximum fill line on the side of the tank. It is there to prevent what you have experienced. NEVER fill above that line--ever! If you need more water before morning, add it when needed. If you see water climbing out of the tank, please consider skipping the nightcap. OP said: "I never ...

My Medicare advantage plan says OK to replace after 5 years. Might need a repeat sleep study, or at least a new Rx.englandsf wrote:When have most folks got the OK to replace a machine - 5 yrs? Hi TBonzie, The first few weeks are the hardest for many of us. Start a new thread and you will get lots of encouragement and support here. As for being demoralized at the thought of this for the rest of your life, here's what I can tell you happened for me: I felt the same way and over time I star...

Re: Yearly Sleep Doctor Appointments?
I've been on a CPAP machine now for about 3 years. Around that time I ended up in the hospital and was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat probably caused by sleep apnea. I was released from the hospital and an hour later had an appointment with a sleep doctor they had set up. This sleep doctor s...

Re: Dozens of NJ Transit engineers diagnosed with sleep apnea
This stat mean that approx 12% of New Jersey Transit engineers have Sleep Apnea. This is probably typical of the overall population. This is really a public safety emergency (and 12% is also a public health emergency). Note that the opioid epidemic is considered an emergency, and it affects nowhere...

Re: Strange disconnects
Similar thing happened to me early on with my Dreamstation. It showed that I was hooked up but not breathing for long stretches. I felt okay, like I had slept. Respiratory Therapist didn't have a clue (didn't even know how to access the information off the card). This happened twice over a 3-4 month...
