Re: Mask for extra small nose
The AirFit F20 has a silicone cushion and the AirTouch F20 has a memory foam cushion. They both fit the F20 frame. For me, the memory foam cushion provided a better seal. So, make sure you try both versions of the F20 cushions before giving up on that mask.

Re: Resmed Repair Wait
I’ve used The CPAP Shop several times for online orders and also have been to the physical store. Never had any issues with orders placed.

Re: Resmed 10 and SoClean Issue! See Pic!
I removed the foam from my ResMed AirSense 10 and have been using it without any issue. No difference in pressure or AHI compared to using the machine with the foam. That’s been my experience.

Re: Could Most CPAP/APAP Machines Have Foam Degradation Risk?
If the reason they added the foam was sound abatement, and it does not perceptibly abate sound, then I don't see the point of the foam being there in the first place. I just said I'm more comfortable having removed the foam. All it took was a screwdriver, after all. I don't see why this is generatin...

Re: Could Most CPAP/APAP Machines Have Foam Degradation Risk?
The sound abatement foam may not have any noticeable difference in sound, now. On relatively new machines with nicely aligned parts, smooth bearings, and little shifting due to expansion and contraction, machines are a lot quieter. As the devices age, vibrations start to present, the foam is likely...

Re: Could Most CPAP/APAP Machines Have Foam Degradation Risk?
The foam in the ResMed AirSense 10 is really easy to remove. It is not glued in place. I removed it after watching a YouTube video. Despite being called "sound abatement foam", I don't think there is any noticeable difference in sound since I've been using the machine without the foam.

Re: Fisher & Paykel Evora...
My experience after a couple of days is that it is quieter than the N30. I think the P10 is the quietest mask I’ve used, so the Evora is somehwere between the two. The Evora vent is not at all diffused. It basically shoots small streams of air out that you can definitely feel, and so can someone els...

Re: Liquicell Multiple Use
When I tried the Wisp mask I would get a red mark on the bridge of my nose. I used 2 or 3 Liquicells on top of one another and that stopped the red mark from appearing. I tried reusing them but they stick less and less well and they start to look pretty dirty after a few days. I found the Gecko pad ...

Re: OSCAR Suggestions & Bug reporting
Is there any way to add the ability to add a field to let a user designate which mask was used on a particular day? Sometimes I switch masks and am curious to know if there is a difference in AHI over time with different masks. I can go into the note field and make a not that a particular mask was u...

Re: Philips Dreamwear Nasal Mask...need alternative
The ResMed N30i would be most comparable. Has hose attachment at top of head like the DreamWear. It comes with a fit pack with several size cushions. The nasal cushion vents more air compared to the DreamWear so is less likely to have buildup of condensation. If you are looking for an atop the head ...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
I have a question for those that received the mask ahead of time from the company (such as Pugsy). Did you have to pay for the mask and supplies? Do you currently have to pay for supplies, or are you given supplies free by the manufacturer? Or, are supplies covered by insurance? Why is this questio...

Re: Bleep/DreamPort nasal mask review thread
For people who’ve been using the Bleep for a while...does applying the adhesive strips on the nose seem like it is sustainable? In other words, is this something that gets old over time? I have a question for those that received the mask ahead of time from the company (such as Pugsy). Did you have t...

Re: ResMed N30i User Review
realshelby, Same Coffee Man. I went back to the N30i and gave it another try. I did have to do some adjustments to the straps to achieve a better fit, but now everything is set. My AHI is back under 1, most nights I have no leak, and feel like the N30i is much less likely to shift out of position. I...

Re: ResMed N30i User Review
For what it's worth, I've been using the N30i exclusively for 8 weeks (original cushion has held up well) and really like it. For me, it is more stable than the DreamWear nasal cushion. Most nights I have no leaks. Like Pugsy said, don't let positive or negative reviews discourage you. I have tried ...
