Re: Still sleepy

I get the same thing. I scored a 1.2 last night and feel like death today. Lots of things can affect energy levels: Electrolytes could be low. (Mg is supposed to help) Stress Or even sleep activities that partially wake you but are not recorded as an event. Like if I get a mask leak, or air blowing ...

Re: Nasal pillows issue

My nostrils got sore for the first 3ish nights too. Good after that. Pretty quick adjustment.

My stepson was walking in the break room at his work one day and trip over his own feet and fell and broke his neck and died on the spot.
I was hoping this was an exaggerated farce, but it feels too real. That's about as unlucky as it gets. Damn, sorry about that.

Re: First night not so good.

Definitely skip the ramp as others have said. And I doubt this is the case since it's your first night, but I had a hard time taking deep breaths once and it turns out that my "fine" filter was clogged. Replacing it or removing it fixed that. As best as I can tell, the filter had plugged rather sudd...

Re: Sleep Onset Centrals

Thank you for the visuals, that helps a lot! I suppose I'll rely on the machine to flag it before I worry too much. I may still visit my sleep Dr because I am so curious about these centrals. And it has actually crept my AHI up to a 5 average over the last 2 weeks which would be worth of review from...

Re: Sleep Onset Centrals

Thank you guys for your input and insight. Fortunately, I can rule out altitude here in the middle america. I haven't ever woken up (that I can remember) while falling asleep, but I do have some general anxiety that I take pills for (lexapro), so my brain subconsciously worrying about breathing defi...

Re: URGENT....HELP.....cannot complete sleep study because of panic attacks and claustrophobia

After a miserable sleep study experience, my anxiety kept me from returning for a titration for almost 3 years. But here's what helped me gather the courage to finally return and get the titration (and machine paid by insurance): 1. Support system: we got a sitter for the kid and my amazing wife cam...

Sleep Onset Centrals

First time poster, frequent lurker. I have some questions that I hope that the collective genius can answer. I have heard that it is common for people to experience some central apneas when falling asleep. And as long as long as they are not too many events or over too long a time it's not an issue....
