Re: Where do you get supplies?

Another question: how often do you replace parts? I've been told to replace nasal pillow and machine filter twice a month, tubing every 3 months, headgear/mask and water tub every 6 months. Does this sound like the norm or is it to increase profit? [/quote] Wow! I am new to all this and I thought th...

Used/New Excess Bits and Pieces Up for Grabs

Hi all In my search for a comfortable mask I tried numerous items and I have quite a list just hanging out in a drawer. Some I wore to bed a few times, others I ordered and tried on but decided against sleeping in them. If I wore them to bed they were later placed in a SoClean 2. I do recommend wash...

Re: Where do you get supplies?

I have ordered via Amazon and theCPAPshop.com. I tried to go through CPAP.com but they would not accept the paperwork the VA had given me. I found that other places would accept the sleep study with the prescription (in VA words) written into the sleep study results. For me to get something differen...

Re: ResMed AirFit N30i nasal mask now available at cpap.com

I am totally with you on the exhaust breeze coming from the front of the mask/pillows. I tend to put my hands at the end of my pillow and thus the mask blows right on them. Since it is cold in the bedroom this means my hands freeze. I have been tucking a bit of extra sheet around the mask front to f...

Re: To the people that struggled with depression before CPAP

Along the lines of cognitive thinking, I do something similar but never knew it to be more than my own 'genre' of meditation. I used to fight with ruminating; my mind would focus on and cycle through the same self-destructive thought processes for hours, days, weekends, weeks, on and on. Considering...

Re: To the people that struggled with depression before CPAP

You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT! I say, I took myself off, when in reality I consulted with a doctor about how to do it and then did it under those instructions but without actually going in to see a doctor. I was in Germany and was able to talk to a person I knew that had medical licenses and such that ...

Re: To the people that struggled with depression before CPAP

I was in the Air Force when my sleep issues started. My, at the time, partner told me I snored but he likened it to a girl snoring; not a real snore but more of a snuffling. I kept waking up in the middle of the night (sometimes just as I was falling asleep, sometimes randomly throughout the night) ...

Re: How is N30i for active side sleepers

Hi I am new here but per my usual I will just jump in. I just got the N30i and after about 6 other types of masks (Have the Resmed 10 W humidifier) I can finally get some sleep. I tend to fall asleep on my side, but wake up with my face crammed into the pillow, fully on my tummy. All the other masks...
