Re: Using CPAP for 7 years but still have brain fog
Another option that may not be immediately obvious (it wasn't for me) is anxiety/depression. Check out the list of symptoms. It took me some time to be honest with myself when answering the questionnaires, but treatment has made a notable difference in how I feel.

Re: Cpap for extended wilderness camping?
Kind of off topic sorry. Have you guys noticed any degradation in battery life in colder temps? If so how did you solve that problem? I've had a battery (Omni 25,600) crash due to cold temps in Death Valley. We were dispersed camping near Dante's View and, while I'm not sure how cold it got, my tru...

Re: restricted nasal airway - reason for tiredness?
My theory is that isn’t not about desaturations, but about the sense of restricted breathing altering our normal sleep cycles. In other words, bouncing you out of deep sleep and into something much more shallow. Perhaps along the same lines as UARS?

Re: restricted nasal airway - reason for tiredness?
I do think there is some substance to your theory. I saw an ENT for the same reason late last year and he thought that I could benefit from turbinate reduction, though I should first try Nasacort or even a systemic steroid injection. I've not had great luck with the nasal sprays and am a bit apprehe...

Re: Difficult Airway.
As a patient with treated apnea and an MP Class 3 airway who recently had to endure a PLIF, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my anesthesiologist had no difficulty with intubating me. Additionally, I was a bit surprised to find upon waking in the recovery area that my cpap hadn't been affixed....

Half Night Missing on SD Card
So I went to check my data from last night with Oscar and it’s only showing the last 1.5 hours of my night. I had shut the machine off to grab a drink of water and noticed there was a long period with a gray screen on the Autoset10. Somehow only the portion of the night after that shut off recorded....

Re: Wake of with Sinus HEadaache every morning
I have the same feeling quite often, and also use a humidifier. Sinus pressure around the nose and eyes but none (or very little) of the discharge that would typically be accompanied with sinus problems. It’s quite odd. Fortunately it seems to taper off as the day wears on.

Re: Strange Flow Charts
Slept on my right side almost entirely. No pressure annoyances. Woke feeling, perhaps, a bit better. Not as much drama in my flowchart, though some still present.

Re: Strange Flow Charts
Regarding the CB artifacts, might they have the potential to trigger inhale/exhale cycle changes in EPR, causing the jagged inhale/exhale cycles shown on the chart? I sometimes notice feeling my heartbeat while trying to go to sleep, especially while on my left side (my dominant sleep side).

Re: Strange Flow Charts
Rubicon and Miss Emerita, Thanks for all of the comments. I went to 11.4 fixed last night and it felt like it was fighting me from the get go. Breathing felt really unnatural as I was trying to fall asleep. Odd as I’ve been at 11 before. Maybe it has something to do with some margaritas with friends...

Re: Strange Flow Charts
I’ll bump it up a couple cm on a fixed basis and see where that leads. Thanks.

Re: Strange Flow Charts
Thanks, Palerider. I did have a run of 11-14cm recently but abandoned as I felt just as poorly, if not worse after 3-4 days. I'll attach some screenshots of one of those nights. Maybe go to a fixed 11?
