You are making a big mistake...losing weight does not cure sleep apnea. You need another sleep study to figure that out. 180 hours is less than 1 month.

You're delusional.
More often than not, sleep apnea CAUSES weight gain and getting rid of the weight doesn't get rid of the sleep apnea.
And, quite a few people who have lost weight actually needed higher pressures with their machines.
If you didn't have a follow-up sleep study to verify whether or not you still have (or don't have) sleep apnea, you're not going about this in the right way. Just proclaiming "I lost weight and now I don't have sleep apnea." is not logical.
And, if your insurance provider is still paying for that machine, you're committing insurance fraud.
