Pulling the blanket over your head
Pulling the blanket over your head
Does anybody else do this? It is not generally recommended for most people. However, if you're using CPAP, your air is pumped in from outside, so this should not be harmful.

Re: Pulling the blanket over your head
I do it all the time. Once I get a free path for the air to blow freely without making noise there are no problems at all.

Yep, I do it a lot too. It's one of the advantages of cpap! Using a hose hanger makes it easier too.

You can sleep later in the summer because the sunlight is blocked.

Re: Pulling the blanket over your head
I do it sometimes in the winter when the overnight temps start to get cooler in my area. If I forget to put an extra cover on my bed it's sometimes nice to tuck my heated hose and head under the covers to bump up the warmth level a bit. Like the OP said, the air gets pumped from the outside... just be sure you are not blocking the exhaust vents of your mask.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
