Airsense 10 Has Stopped Transmitting Data

Post by Comfortably Numb » Wed May 31, 2017 1:11 pm

My Airsense 10 has stopped transmitting wirelessly to "My Air" even though the data is copying to my SD card. I don't use "My Air" but it does serve to indicate that there is something wrong with my wireless signal and I may not be getting credited lately. My DME uses a different program to check for Medicare compliance but, like "my Air," the data is transmitted wirelessly to his program just like a cell phone call. I have a call in to him to see if he is still getting my data.

I've checked my unit. It is not in Airplane Mode, my signal is just as weak as ever (one or two bars), the unit has never been disconnected from power, and none of the settings have been modified. Is there anything I can try to get the data to begin transmitting again? I don't want to lose the data in the machine unless that's the only way to start over. thanks

Please consider downloading Sleepyhead.
Once you have compared the data between Sleepyhead and MyAir, you will not care about MyAir.

Thanks for your comments. I found this forum link that also addresses the problem. Should have checked first:

I use Sleepy Head so that's all I need. Unfortunately, Medicare does not use Sleepy Head and neither does my DME or physician. My only concern is Medicare compliance and that is currently confirmed by cellular transmission. I'll try to unplug/restart and if that doesn't help then it will become my DME's problem.

I would trying unplugging your AirSense for a bit to see if it helps.
How many days are missing from My Air? If it's just 1 or 2 it's probably nothing to worry about.
Don't worry about the compliance data because it's stored in the machine and on the SD card. So you can always bring the SD Card into your DME for compliance verification.

Excellent point. I've missed 2 days but as you say, I've got everything on my SD card. Also, I didn't realize that the machine stores the data but when I looked at the unit, it did record last night. It just didn't report yesterday or today as it has in the past. I did unplug the unit and waited 20-30 min. before plugging in again. That had no effect. Like I said, this is my DME's problem if he can't receive the data. I have on my SD card.

Three hours after disconnecting the power for 20 min. and then reconnecting, the two missed days were successfully transmitted to "My Air."
