Leave cupcakes out for the unicorns.
You never know.
Cool idea, I didn't know they liked cupcakes.
It will be so much easier to hunt them while they're eating - I hear unicorn horns have magical properties, and since nothing else has worked, I may as well give it a try.

From a little outside the box...
Secure a loan from a distant cousin or friend or family member and purchase a machine out of pocket. That way you can pick a machine that works with whatever program you are using.
I have plenty of other things to spend thousands of dollars on. The thought of spending that much on something that has been provided makes me ill. On top of that, nobody knows if it will EVER work for me.
Now if there was software available that had a reasonable cost, that would work with the existing machine, I would pay for it because it didn't come with any.

There is software available that will give you the data.
Encore Pro....yeah, it's a POS but if you could get the damn thing to install it does work.
Don't bother with EncoreBasic 2.4.8....even if it will install (and it would) it doesn't seem to be compatible with the #960.
I dug out my other laptop (which does have Windows 10 and EncoreBasic 2.4.8 on it BTW so it will work) and plugged your data in and it wouldn't recognize the SD card. I was afraid of that. The 960 was released after this last version of Basic (and 2.4.8 is quite old and that's the one the apneaboard has).
If there is a newer version of Basic I don't know where to get it.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

OK, there is software (crappy as it is even when it does work) that can read data from a 960 AutoSV.
Yippee.
Doesn't do me any good AT ALL if it won't install.
They may as well have given me a paving brick - they weigh about the same and are equally useful to me.

Find a computer that it will install on.
It will install on some Windows computers...it just sucks and has a high failure rate because of that damn SQL database thing. That's why they came out with Encore Basic some years ago.
Do try turning BPM back to auto and see if that will resolve the SleepyHead incompatibility issue.
It was something simple like that in a setting that would mess up SleepyHead. I don't know that BPM auto vs manual was the trigger but worth trying.
I may have to RISE but I refuse to SHINE.

put the bpm back on auto, without a backup BPM, you have got the asv turned off. This may be enough, if it's not. Set the defaults, or get a program that you can see the fine details and learn all about your apnea.
This has asv titration of philips, including default settings

I understand your frustration, but you need a mindset to look at, ways to work, rather that ways it won't

With BPM on the machine is stupidly trying to adjust my breathing to IT. This causes disturbances which cause me to get even less sleep. >.<
I do not have CSA, so I don't ever "forget" to breathe, so I don't need a machine deciding when I should - it's even more disturbing than a FFM.

If you didn't have ca or really bad periodic breathing in the sleep study, why did they give you an ASV? The philips machine is trying to duplicate the last few minutes of peak flow. It uses the auto backup and adds pressure pulses to do so.
You really need to go back and have the machine set up for you, or change machines. You seem to be reluctant to be able to post charts, without those, the forum can't do much. I see nothing I can add.

I could NOT get encore pro to work with Windows 10. The version of sql it needs is not compatible with win10.
I would suggest to create a new partition on your hard drive install windows 7. That is what I ended up doing. I did NOT want to give up on the encore pro.
I wish you well..

Firstly, they gave me an ASV because I most likely have UARS and CPAP has not worked (like the subject line says) in 8 months.
Secondly, HTF can I post charts if SH can't read the data from this POS 960?

I finally got EP2.2 to install on my ancient laptop (it is upgraded to Win 10), and it did read the SD card, but the only data I could see was a summary - which is exactly the same as I can get off the machine screen. 2 hour install and then another hour spent figuring out how to get the data into the program, and it ended up being a complete waste of time.
This is the most poorly written application I have ever seen. I used to think a proprietary application my wife uses for quilting was awful - it was written for Windows 3.1 and never had the interface updated. But EP now wins the prize. It uses NOTHING from Windows. It may as well be a stand alone DOS program, as it can't even be bothered to use a single builtin Windows dialog box.

I don't see where it says turning off BPM turns off ASV. They refer to a backup rate (in cases of central apnea), but since I don't have CA I don't require a backup rate.

It defaults to showing only the summary data.
You have to click on "detail" first. Then View...and then you get the graphs and stuff.
And then for wave form you need to click on the tiny blue paper clip looking thing up by the date.

AVP isn't the machine for UARS, It may have just been a last choice, because of the ongoing issues. Your frustration may also impact on what they can do.
