Dreamwear FFM - strap marks

Post by rileyrd22 » Sun Jul 08, 2018 9:44 am

Hi all,

Been using CPAP for about 5 weeks and picked up a dreamwear FFM and found it to be alot more comfortable than my F20. Only problem i am having is with strap marks on my face. Are the pads worth the investment or any other better ideas? My FFM did not come with pads and i do not feel like i have them too tight.

Thanks for any help.

I find the side Velcro straps you can get for this mask very helpful. Do you find you have to tighten straps a little more than you would like?

I feel that i do not have to tighten very tight to get a good seal. Marks may be coming from side sleeping against pillow. Using a medium frame which seems to fit, No tightness on top.

from side sleeping
any suggestions?
i also find that air comes into my mouth with this mask

Riley, if you are at all handy, you can make a set of strap covers out of anything soft. I just use a strip of soft fleece fabric and sew it into a tube, slide it onto the straps and you are ready to go.
