I would try and avoid this on the inside of the machine to avoid inhaling it. Most pesticides are tested (somewhat) for topical exposure, but inhaling is a different matter. Personally, I would go or boric acid (also not harmless) or diatomaceous earth (almost totally harmless).

Boric acid is mostly harmless to mammals, it's about as toxic as table salt.

Had a foundation crack near one under counter cabinet that proved an entry for roaches. Learned they hate catnip, so I bought several cans pf catnip spray. Emptied that canbinet and sprayed it well and closed the doors. Let it sit for several hours and repeated the spraying and drying. Did it a third time and put everything back in. NO more roaches! Had to do this a month or so later, then found the crack and filled it. The only drawback was my cats hanging out by the cabinet door and when opened they leaped inside knocking everything over.

I make a buffet for the little sugar ants when they find their way into the house... a little sugar, a little water, a little boric acid... soak some folded up paper towel scraps and put it near where I see 'em..

They LOVE it.. take it back and feed the others in the hive... pretty soon, no more ants. You don't want too much boric acid (you don't want to kill them before they get back to the hive) and you don't want too little (you do want to kill them...ALL eventually ) muhahaha.

They do make a mighty fine automobile, Love my Audi. How the hell they crammed 2 turbos and a 2.7 motor in the space they did is beyond me. Then it comes to repair time and the motor needs to be pulled to basically do anything I start to think - now that isn't very smart

Yes agree. It is actually what exterminators use. Or one thing in their arsenal. I’ve used it in apartment building with great success.

Being a sleep technologist I would not recommend a cover CPAP machine pulls in room air to work. Unfortunately a roach likes heat and a CPAP machine provides a lot you need to make sure you clean your machine constantly when you get rid of your bug problem I would see if you could replace your machine. A roach sheds and poops constantly so you could be breathing all that in. My mother had bugs she bought a plastic box on amazon cut a hole in it for the tube and used that. Not sure how well it worked since I stayed clear of her home as to not get bugs myself. I wish you luck. Vinegar works good to clean your machine do not get the machine wet. DO NOT spray the machine with any bug spray you will breathe that stuff in use eucalyptus oil it is a repellent for tehm and not dangerous for you spray around your machine.

I grew up with those nasty buggers. What they love is nice warm motor driven machines. They find their way in. Be very observant. You might need a special case to prevent that. I think the complete extermination by a professional company is your best bet. Remove the machine and hoses from the home while it’s done, and expect to find a killing field when you return. But irs your best bet. They’re tenacious.
