Pur-sleep testimonials

Post by DivinMercy » Sun Feb 25, 2007 5:04 am

If you are liking/loving this product as much as I am, consider going to the site http://www.pur-sleep.com/ and leaving a short testimonial so other people can try to make a more informed decision based on our reviews.

I am actually sleeping longer since I got this product (in 2 days!) and look forward to going to sleep now with the CPAP. I still have other issues to solve, but this is helping tremendously

Thanks, Bret!! God Bless you! And thanks to all the good people here for all your help...past, present, and future

Blessings.....Mary....already thinking about revising her goal
Still on the journey.....

Great to hear from you Mary. It's extremely exciting to me to be offering a product that is helping so many people. By the way I'd love testimonials for the website but I am the only one who can input the testimonial. So if you have something you want to say, email me, PM me, or just start a thread here and I'll put it on the website!

I am a CPAP user since December and new to this forum in January. I am wondering if some people would mind telling me how long it took them to get a good/full night's sleep? I am still only getting an average of 3 to 4 hours per night, and not all on the machine, necessarily. I also am battling insomnia (for about 5 years now) and depression/anxiety (for about 10 years). Medications for these conditions can play havoc with my sleep "hygiene" also.

This past year I have had to put my last 2 children back in school instead of homeschooling. I can no longer teach them, run the house and basically function, being as sleep deprived as I am. My 6 children and husband have all complained at some point or other about me always falling asleep in the afternoon and evening...SO...

I am determined to make the CPAP work, but am discouraged because I am unable to duplicate the titrating sleep study ... I felt so good after that...and I am so tired of being tired

Will I EVER get a (good) night's sleep again? How long will it take? I can wait if there is hope, but my household is falling apart, and emotionally and, physiologically, so am I. My relationships all seem to be in disarray

Please, some words of advice or encouragement would be greatly appreciated!! Sorry this was so long. Just feeling a little down and, knowing from reading many past posts how supportive this forum is, thought I would ask for some cheese with my w(h)ine i.e. please give me something to grab on to!

Thank you all so much!!!

Pur-Sleep really helps

Post by siirandler » Mon Mar 05, 2007 1:10 am

I am a new cpap user, and I am trying to get used to this new world of using equipment to sleep. I have to say that it feels really good to be able to get some sleep at last! But the mask and machine have been difficult to get used to. Reading on this board has helped a lot, both knowing others are also having struggles and so many tips and tricks and nice people on this board.

I also really like the difference Pur-Sleep has made too. I must say I had a very rough time sleeping with my mask on until I added the Pur-Sleep system to my machine. I love the different aromas and I find it really helps to relax me as I drift off. Like so many other posts I have read, I find I am sleeping longer and deeper. I feel like I am dreaming more and I wake up more refreshed.

Sleeping with cpap has not turned out to be an easy thing for me. I am for anything that makes it more comfortable and increases my compliance. Thanks so much for such an awesome product! I figure you might as well try things and go with what helps. Pur-Sleep has really helped me.

I tried my new set up for the first time last night. My biggest trouble with CPAP treatment is staying asleep once I get to bed. Not much trouble falling asleep usually, but I tend to wake up about four times a night and sometimes get too awake to fall back to sleep easily.

Yesterday I hooked up the pur-sleep system to my APAP and looked forward to trying it out at bed time. It is easy to hook up and easy to load the oils on the cotton plug that comes with the system. I was trying for 1 or 2 drops on the cotton, but ended up with three. That worked fine and was not too strong in my APAP. When I turned the machine on and put on my headgear, the smell was pleasant and relaxing. I don't think I lasted long before sleep arrived.

I think I woke up three times in the night. I'm not real sure, and that is something different in itself. I usually know exactly how many times I woke up. Each time I easily and quickly went back to sleep with the spice smell still in my hose. By the time I got up this morning, about 8 hours after I went to bed, the oils had gone away. All in all, a relaxing addition to XPAP treatment and I would recommend this to people that have trouble waking up during the night while on XPAP treatment.

Thanks for the invention!

I just got the pur-sleep kit and I have used it for 3 nights.
I really love falling to sleep inhaling that lavender scent. I used to put lavender on my pillow and run an aromatherapy machine but I had to give those up once I started CPAP. Pur-sleep allows me to get back to smelling lavender again.
It is so soothing and I fall asleep faster.
It doesn't take very much either. Just one small drop. Less is more in this case. It's a great product and I'm happy to have it.

I just wanted to let people know that the Pur-Sleep website is now fully operational with product in stock. I appreciate all of the support from the forum on this project.

This is a fantastic product that literally changed my life--I went from barely tolerating my cpap for a few hours a night a few nights a week to sleeping all night, every night, for a year now. The product has helped many people tolerate their cpap therapy. Cpap is hard enough and there are only a few comfort products out there to make it tolerable. The feedback from people who have actually tried the system has been overwhelmingly positive--with hundreds of units sold, there has yet to be a single return despite an unconditional guarantee.

The pur-sleep made all the difference in the world for me tolerating my treatment. I had a really rough go, and still have a few bad nights here and there, but knowing that as I put that @#*&$@! mask on, I will smell something wonderful, helps me keep it on when I don't want to and even enjoy it!
The current diffuser is different than the one I have, but as it addresses the concerns that some individuals had about interrupting the air circuit, I can see no reason for anyone not to use it, should they feel inclined. Infact, If you are having trouble falling asleep with the mask on, I would reccomend it!
Pressure 7-9 C-Flex 3 AHI 1.6
Mirage Swift
Marine Mask Seal so my mask doesn't leak
Polygrip Strips so my mouth doesn't leak
Di-Oval for aerophagia
Eye drops for air coming out my tear ducts
Pur-Sleep so I can fall asleep despite all of the above.

After months of using pursleep I too can stand by the product. I still stand by the original diffuser, but can see how the current product will be just as beneficial. It can make an intolerable night so much easier, and the CLEAR is an absolute must if going to bed with a headache! It eases the pain so much.

Good job sleepguy.
