Rescan and Computer help needed

Post by Garyw » Sun Jul 08, 2007 5:45 pm

I finally got my Rescan software to use in conjunction with my Resmed Malibu. I seem to have loaded the software with no problems, but for some reason when I connect the Malibu to the computer via a null modem cable the software/computer does not pick it up as a flow generator. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated
Gary

I doubt that many folks have the ResScan software at this point. One thing you might check - in AutoScan, under the Settings menu, there's a Serial Port option, where you choose the Com number to use. Make sure that this matches the serial port you're using on your computer.

If this is not your problem, please post again, and perhaps someone else can assist you.

OK....off topic. How does one get their hands on the new rescan software....and is it any better than the autoscan?

I got mine from CPAP supply but can't tell you yet what the differences may be.

leave it to Resmad!! LOL

The brochure shows the Rescan only comes for Windows, yet they show a picture of it on a Apple Mac keyboard and mouse

Must be running it on Parallels
