nasal cushions
I recently got some. They were very comfortable when the assistant tried them on me in my doctor's office, but they hurt when I tried to wear them. Has anyone else had that experience?
Re: nasal cushions
Which nasal cushions are you referring to?

Re: nasal cushions
Only the tip of the pillows should go into the nare. When the air turns on the seal is made. Are you inserting the pillow to far into your nose? Overtightening?

Re: nasal cushions
New user here.....But I've found that if I make sure to let the pillows inflate BEFORE I put them next to my nose, they fit much, much better and stay in place all night.

Re: nasal cushions
I couldn't wear them all night at first. The inside of my nose burned. I can wear them fine now. It took a little getting used to for me. I love them now.

Re: nasal cushions
Thank you everyone.
I might try them again next time my husband isn't home. Someone asked if I'm inserting the pillows too far. I think I did, but then it seemed as if there was something about the way the mask was made or adjusted that caused them to be pushed in. I wasn't able to figure out how to correct that.

Maybe you should try a larger size.Sharon1225 wrote:Thank you everyone.

Re: nasal cushions
Once again, if you tell us what mask it is we'd be a lot more help. So far you've gotten only some general suggestions.
If we know exactly what mask, you'll get a ton of help. It is usually marked somewhere on the mask. Or go to cpap.com and look at the pictures of nasal pillow masks to find the one you have.
