I was just curious as to how many truck drivers/travelers are on CT & what ya'll might be using(also the pros/cons of your set up), have an appointment with the DR this week & am hoping to get something a little more travel friendly than my 12 year old machine.
Also what kind of power inverter are you using ??
How many truck drivers/travelers on here ??

Re: How many truck drivers/travelers on here ??
I lived full time in my motor home for 5 years.
The last 2 years with my Resmed S9 Autoset with H5i Humidifier.
I now have a PRS1 d960TS ASV and I travel with that.
You might be more specific about you mode of travel.
My son takes 100 mile bicycle rides in is blanning a 500 mile ride, he also likes backpacking in th High sieras.
That is very differnet from my RV or a truck driver

My hubby has a CDL but is a delivery driver for a soft drink company - local, home every night. We both have the PR S1 560 & it is easy to pack for travel.
Are you talking travel & sleeping in a truck sleeper? If so, depending on your electricity availability, this machine is fairly easy for travel. I think you can use plugged into a cigarette lighter or on a portable battery. I'm sorry but I'm not very knowledge about the power sources, but the machine itself is compact & fairly easy to carry.

I drive a truck, but I'm not a truck driver!
(real trucks don't have spark plugs)
IMO, The Respironics machines are easier to use in a vehicle or RV as they natively run on 12 volts.
I'd recommend the DS560TS. And make sure you get the side plate to cover the open side when the humidifier is removed. You probably don't want to take the humidifier when in the truck.
