Re-acclimation

Post by thegrimmsleeper » Wed Nov 23, 2016 12:25 am

Hello all. It's been some time since I've been here. Hope everyone is doing well.

Near the end of October, I had to have dental surgery and was advised to avoid using my machine for a few nights to prevent inadvertently blowing bacteria into the incisions while they were healing. Frustratingly, I had some issues with one of the sites anyway and ended up off the machine for around two weeks or so. I was not happy about it, as I had finally settled into getting some good sleep with the machine. The subsequent weeks I had to re-acclimate to using the machine, and recently I'm back on course. However I've noticed the past couple of days (after a four day run of 7ish hour nights) that I'm having some of the symptoms I had when I first started using the machine and was still finding the right pressure and so forth (brain fog, physical and mental tiredness). My AHI is pretty much the same as it had been (ranges from 1 or under to around 3).

Just curious if anyone else has experienced that, getting back on the horse after not having the therapy for a little while.

welcome to the zoo!
please post a new thread with your questions. you are responding to a three year old post and the user hasn't logged on to the forum since march 2018.

if you would, please see the links in my sig. one is for "newbies". the other is for downloading the free software program called oscar.

good luck!
people say i'm self absorbed.
but that's enough about them.
