Airsense 10 AutoSet on sale for $208 for Black Friday on cpap.com

Post by Tricky Wash » Thu Nov 23, 2023 7:41 am

I saw this on another forum and haven't checked it out for myself. Looks like a great deal.
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/resmed ... t-humidair

Use promo code BF23 and it’s 208 with free shipping.

Cpap requires you to upload your prescription, but if you have it and are looking for a new machine (or a second one to keep somewhere) this is an amazing deal.

No idea how long the sale is.
It's the Card-to-Cloud Version. Can someone tell me what that means?

It means there's no modem in it to upload your data. The only way to get your data to the cloud is by bringing your SD Card to your medical practisioners.

It just means that there is no modem installed to call home...Can't use MyAir or AirView to review data because the machine can't call home to report.
You have to use the SD card to see detailed data beyond what is available on the machine's LCD screen.

Not a big deal for anyone who uses OSCAR and doesn't need or want big brother watching.
Or like DogSlobber says...just take the SD card to your doctor if they want data.

I have NOT verified this cpap.com sale at this point....I normally get emails about promos like this but so far I haven't seen one.

So....I just checked out the promo code BF23...it does work and the price is indeed 208 with free shipping.

Helluva deal....

I haven't seen anything that tells me when the promo code expires so if you guys/gals want to do this...don't dilly daddle around "thinking about it" because it will expire and I wouldn't be surprised to find it short lived.

cpap.com does require current RX to be on file to purchase the machine.

Saw this on Slickdeals this morning and ordered the AS10 + heated tube for $240 shipped! Price is too good to ignore, even if you already have a decent backup.

You can google this particular model and get other prices from other vendors but from a quick glance that I just did....I saw prices ranging from 550 to 950 for the card to cloud model.

I think it is still a very fair price.

Seems like BF23 promo code is no longer valid for some reason on this machine.
It was valid yesterday but not today. Might call and ask.

Try code spookydeals. It will take $91 off bringing it down to $308.

I read on another forum that the BF23 code was not supposed to stack on top of the $399 discounted price. Thankfully, my order shipped.

Will your doctor write a RX for you?
You can try having cpap.com people contacting your doctor.

A sleep study report doesn't include the RX. I probably states the diagnosis and results but it won't include the actual prescription.

Ok I already have a machine they know about, it’s ok if I ask for a prescription for one even though I have one?

It's OK to ask. Some doctors are better at fulfilling requests than others.

By all means just ask. If you don't ask the answer is going to be "no".

Just explain that you need a script so you can go buy a machine to keep for a spare or travel and there are LOTS of good sales going on right now. You need a copy of the RX anyway for your own records.

Hey CG....you know I fired my PCP a month or so ago...and earlier this week I went to a new guy who I was auditioning for being my new PCP doc. I just plain out asked him on that first visit to give me a new RX and he said "okay".
Didn't give me any grief at all. He did say that he didn't know what to write and needed to research it and I said..."no need..I got all you need on this little piece of paper"....and he did it.
I just used the excuse "I need to spend my FSA account money or lose it and my current machine has nearly 12K hours on it so I want a spare" .

My new machine should be here tomorrow.

Seems like he is trainable...I might just keep him. :D

I believe you can request copies of all your medical records as this is a HIPAA request.
Should they want a reason I always put "Continued Care".

Just saw this on the deal page...

People falling over each other for this deal:

Note that these are REFURBS, not new, and not even certified by Resmed, so the quality level will be a crapshoot when it comes to who did the refurb work, and while the price is OK, it's not to die for. Hart Medical sells the certified refurbs all day for less than $250 WITH CELLULAR TRANSPONDER when available (must call, not listed on website because it dependence on availability). You CAN check the total (user and blower) hours on these (You Tube is your friend), which is generally not changeble outside of the factory, so if you buy one of these, be sure to do that.
