While the dangers of Sleep Apnea have been understood for a while now, we had very few studies to show that these problems can be ameliorated by treatment with CPAP (or any other treatment).
What most of us know is that CPAP makes us feel much better. I would still use it, for that reason alone.
However, the study shows improvement in blood pressure, blood sugar, total cholesterol, and triglycerides directly linked to CPAP compliance. This is good reason to stay on CPAP therapy.
