Isn't this Bravo made by the same company that makes the Hybrid?

It appears that different size pillows can be used for each nostril, just like the Hybrid. I haven't tried the Hybrid yet (will get it this week) but I've heard that the nasal pillows on the Hybrid are soft. I wonder if the Bravo pillows are as soft (the pillows on the Swift are hard, that's one thing I don't like about the Swift). The headgear looks similar to the Swift.

I love the colors on the website.

It doesn't look as if it would work well for side sleepers.

Not only does it not look great for side sleepers, but I just don't see how it would work that well. The headgear pulls on the sides of the mask rather than pulling up. I would think it would be hard to maintain a seal if you move at all. I was really excited when I heard the Hybrid people were making a nasal pillow mask, but now I'm not so sure.

There seems to be an overhead strap with buckle. That should help pull the pillows up and maintain a good seal.

Unless I see the videos, I can't say for sure but it seems like you can route tubing up in front of the face (no tubing on the sides of the face). This should be very comfortable for sidesleping.

Cheers!

Pat

I watched the video on the website. It looks like you have the option of routing the hose up over the head, or have it go down next to your body. The straps do pull up. I don't see any restrictions to side sleeping. Might be worth a try if you like pillow interfaces.

Can we order here? I have to try it, looks too interesting not to. Looks like you can wear any combination.

Just saw the video on the web-site. I like the fact that there are at least 3 distinct wearing options. I guess there are 2 rings that come with the product that you can route the tubing through.

My wife is going nuts. She wants one bad. Her birthday is May 13th. I hope CPAP.com has them by then!

Sarah....try this link.

Still looks to me as if the barrel is too wide. I think it might break the seal when turning over. I will wait for some folks to report on this one!

The website says the Bravo nasal pillows have Adaptive Flow technology and Active Swivel feature. I assume Adaptive Flow has something to do with the exhaust holes (based on the Hybrid).

What about Active Swivel, anyone knows ???

Hey Hoseheads,

I saw the Bravo today afternoon at the Teleflex Medical booth in the Medtrade Spring Expo. My first impressions are:

The pillows are soft and seem comfortable. They are removable and different sizes can be used for each nare!

When hooked up to CPAP, it seemed fairly quiet even at 18 cm.

The headgear and the the way the headgear connects to the mask allows it to closely follow the face contour. I think this will come in handy when side sleeping with the mask. This needs to be verified.

The swivel (that connnects to the CPAP hose) connectors are flexible, it allows the 2 tubes to be pulled apart in case you want the tubes routed over the cheeks but far away from the eyes (not to obstruct vision in any way). That is what they call Active Swivel.

Nevada RT,

Have you seen the Swift II? How does the Bravo compare to that, specially the noise level?
