Padacheek PAC Nosebridge

Post by OptimisticChap » Wed Feb 18, 2009 10:54 am

Recently I bought the PAC Nosebridge from http://www.padacheek.com. I was using moleskin to keep my sensitive skin on the bridge of my nose from cracking and bleeding. This item eliminates the hassle of applying the moleskin as well as the discomfort of taking it off in the morning. I would recommend this item to any one who has the same problem.
The following is a link to the website where you can read more about it as well as purchase it.

Do you work for the company? What about the gap produced by the pad preventing the mask from fitting directly against the skin and leading to leaks?

No I don't work for the company. I'm just an end user hose head.
The piece of fabric that protects my nose bridge is actually thinner than the moleskin tape that my DME told me to use. So I find that it seals better since I'm using the PAC Nosebridge.
But that's just my experience now. There might be other folks who don't agree. Who knows???

I have that item. I tried it with the tab down over the nose. Didn't seem to leak more, but did nothing for me except tickle my nose. I fold it up out of the way and keep meaning to cut it off but I keep forgetting. I do really like using the pad in general on my FF mask as the naked pad is not comfortable for me.

Are the pads generic to any type of FFM?

Sorry Jason I'm not sure on the definition for FFM but I'm guessing its a mask.
The manufacturer has several different models of masks and I had to tell them that I have the Aclaim2 mask.
But sorry if that wasn't the answer to your question!

If you'd like more info on any Padacheek item you can check out the website or just PM Padacheek, Karen is a forum member and goes to great lengths to help us all be more comfortable in our masks.
