He's Baaaackkkk!

Post by JohnBFisher » Mon Jul 23, 2012 1:14 pm

Ugh! Between a horrible cold (sinus, throat and chest) and a dead computer, I was down for the count for the past few weeks. For those of you, who take insulin, you will know I felt terrible when I note that my blood glucose - regardless of the insulin - was out of control. Sheesh! It's bad enough to feel terrible. But when it also damages your body - That's just not fair!!

So, my apologies for anyone who wanted my input. I still have to repair the dead computer. I need to replace the power supply then recover a damaged RAID drive. So, it might be a few days before I am functioning as normal. But I definitely feel better today. And as a confirmation of that my blood glucose is once again under control. So, hopefully I will be better able to help others on this forum.

Welcome Back, John! I'm not too worried about your computer, I know you'll get it fixed, just glad you're feeling better and your diabetes in under control now, that's the important thing.

Welcome back John, I hope you get things under control and start feeling better. I don't know if it is all the hot weather or not but my "BS" has been going wacky as well. I have been yo-yoing between diet, pills, cheese and an occasional candy bar to keep it moderated. I feel for you on your computer rebuilding a raid array is one of my least favorite thing to do. I have a home backup/ print server that crashed in June fortunately I had every thing backed up, and when I get around to rebuilding it I will just use a single data drive.

Ahhh, John! Welcome back. Sure am sorry to hear that not only was your 'puter "under the weather" but that you were too!!!

It must be ESP. "Peke" over at apneasupport has been asking some questions about the ASVs today. He/she has a Resmed ASV that is "showing her age" and having some problems at 4 1/2 years of age so his/her DME provider has loaned him/her a PR S1 ASV. I just told him/her to come over here to ask his/her questions about the ASVs.

And I finally got my computer back up and running .. it was a bad power supply. Yuck. I've got it running now, so I should be much more regular. Life is busy, but now that I have my normal desktop system running, it will be much easier for me to check on the forum on a regular basis. Hurrah!
