Chin up strips?

I was browsing the net today and found an item called chin-up strips. apparently these are an adhesive strip that is applied along your chin and up the corners of your mouth to prevent mouth leaks. Has anyone ever used these and if so how did they work?

I tried them and they really didn't work at all. I'm sticking with regular tape across my lips......

I tried a package of them. Found that J&J waterproof tape an equal job at minimal cost and easy to obtain etc. But after a few days I am able to keep mouth closed without a strap or tape. Give it time.

I also tried the chin-up strip for one night. It didn't seem to help and it was ouchy removing it the next morning. My clinician suggested I use it AND the chin strap. That's more than I want to do! I will stick to the tiara topaz chin-strap for now, although on my back, I am aware of exhaling through my mouth sometimes still. I'm still not willing to tape my mouth shut yet. We'll see as time goes by.

They sent me a sample pack of several different styles. They did not work at all for me. I will also stick with mouth taping. I can send you my "recipe" for mouth taping if you are interested.
