I read that about 90% of all sleep lab results show sleep apnea is the problem. Is this correct? What is in the other 10%?
Anyone have a reference to a survey with a pareto analysis of what the labs are finding?
Not important for my daily living, just intellectual curiosity.

Re: Pareto Analysis of Sleep Disorders
I don't have such analysis, but I do have a case: my wife. Neurologist ordered a sleep study for my wife based on neurological issues, rather than a suspicion of apnea. It showed about 50% sleep efficiency, no REM, alpha wave intrusions and "tortured sleep" with a diagnosis of "Chronic Insomnia" (even tho my wife does sleep, it's just bad sleep). Cause is likely norepinephrine continually leaking out of her neural synapses even while sleeping.
