ResScan Software 4.3 and Win 8.1

Post by charlesrshell » Sun Dec 01, 2013 7:24 pm

Has anyone been able to install ResScan Software 4.3 in Windows 8 and 8.1? When I tried to install the program in Win 8.1 a window popped open and listed all the opp systems it supports. The newest is Win 7 64 bit.

Sadily I don't have a resmed machine or the software. I do however have win 8.1 on my machine. If anyone can pm me the link for the software I can test the installer.

ResScan 4.3 is working fine for me on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Touch laptop, running Win 8.1 Pro x64. It was installed under Win 8 and survived the update to WIn 8.1

Cheers,

Bill

OK, thanks billbolton. I don't have a ResMed S9 Autoset yet, but will try out the ResScan 4.3 a when I do.

I would give the install in win 8.1 about an 8/10. the only minor issue i am seeing is that the installer does not appear to have created a shortcut to the program executable.
the executable file for resscan is ResScan.exe

located in the flowing directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\ResMed\ResScan3

OK, thanks jbloodwo testing out the ResScan 4.3 for Win 8.1. I am glad for the most part she will work.

I'm trying to change the language but I cannot find out how to do it.

Any idea?
