Sound sleep flowchart cont…..

Post by Thomas F. » Wed Mar 14, 2018 9:37 am

I found out who makes the rules folks…Pugsy. She/he locked down my previous post so no more comments.

To date Pugsy has made over 43000 posts so that means She/he has easily spent over two awake hour years sitting in a chair and surfing this website. She/he better be the proprietor of this website or such an incredible waste of human resource this is.

Have a wonderful day.

Pugsy is the board Moderator...She is a very respected member of this board. If she locked down your post...there was good reason. She is very tolerant. Why don't you go to the Apnea board and see how tolerant their Moderators are.

Oh and on most forums starting a new thread about the one that was locked usually doesn't end well.....

I have not helped enough CPAP users to comment if the flowchart is good or bad. However, there seems to be more to this thread than the flowchart.
Something I noticed with myself was once CPAP therapy began working on my mind and body was I suddenly had all these ideas and the energy to carry them but I had forgotten how to act appropriately with them. The second I had something to say I would blurt out a comment, joke or idea and then wonder why I did not receive the reaction I expected in that one second.
I try to
  • Count to 10 before saying something rude or controversial.
  • Count to 100 before responding to something I'm angry with.
  • Use the "Save Draft" button. I often revise or decide it's not important to post.

I agree though, Apneaboard NEEDS that one.

Although the idea of a flow chart is appealing, the devil is in the details.
For example, the first question "do you mouth breath" causes more confusion than it helps. Mouth breathing while awake is different from mouth breathing while asleep without PAP, which is different from mouth breathing while using PAP with too low of a pressure, which is different from mouth leaking while using PAP.
I stopped reading at that point.
