Choppy waveforms

Post by Okaythen » Mon Nov 13, 2023 8:42 am

Can someone please explain what's best to do when your waveforms look choppy and not well-rounded? Is it simply just a matter of increasing the pressure? Sorry, I'm not able to attach them, unfortunately.

Use Imgur.com and put a link in this thread.

It doesn't have to be imgur as the hosting website.
It can be any image hosting website.

How about linking to your past multiple posts about this very same issue you are having????
People aren't going to go scrolling through your past posts. They simply ignore them instead because they don't have an answer and won't do the work to maybe figure out an answer.

It is really, really difficult to figure out an answer to your question even with the screen shots you posted in the past.
Damn near impossible now without any images at all.

That’s OK. I guess I already know the answer.

My last two nights my waveforms looked ragged, whereas the only image that this site allowed me to post last week — yes, I even cleared out all my previous attachments like you suggested, so that was not the problem — my waveforms looked normal, but that was a one-off.

How about we do a fundraiser and get a tech guy in here to fix this site so people can post attachments and not lose their mind trying to do so when they’re already tired AF? Just a thought.

My answer, btw: increase the PAP pressure, and if that doesn’t work, look for another cause.

Good luck with that.

You know for probably 10 years we didn't have ANY forum attachments allowed at all. People had to host their images somewhere else. We kinda got spoiled once we could do attachments.

There are limitations....accept it and move on.

I have tried repeatedly to get this problem addressed in any number of ways but either it can't be done or they don't give a crap. I accepted it and moved on.

Thanks for your input. You’re always very helpful on this site.

I guess it like the Germans say, “Life is not a wish concert.”

But let’s not lose hope, though, as maybe there will come a day when all attachments—regardless of size, color, or religious affiliation—will be accepted on here.

How about you put in a tiny bit of effort to make it so others can help you? Just a thought.

That’s OK.
it may be okay for you, but it'd frustrating for folks to try to help you.

maybe create one topic and name it Okaythen's therapy thread? and put every question you have there? that would make it much easier for the forum folk to help you.

good luck!

Whatever, CPAP nerds. I have a better chance of Joe Rogan helping me with a custom-made tongue-retaining device.

I swear, if I ever get those images resized, I’ll post them right on here, pronto. Don’t even dare me.

Size doesn't matter if the forum storage for attachments is full....and it was full yesterday because I tried it to see if I could attach a file I know is within size limits...I got the "forum storage is full" message.

You have no other choice than to use another image hosting website...or quit your bitching.
