sleeping on a plane
sleeping on a plane
Does any of you cpap users have suggestions of how to sleep on a plane without a cpap machine?
Re: sleeping on a plane
I don't sleep on planes. Afraid I'll dream of snakes.
I sleep up until the last possible moment before heading to the airport, then I fly, and then I sleep as soon as possible when I arrive, even if that requires paying extra at my accommodations for an extra night to accomplish that. And I do my best to choose my flight times and dates accordingly. It usually helps me to adapt to the time change.
I generally schedule something engaging and productive for when I'm in the air, since being unconscious while surrounded by strangers isn't my preference. That said, sitting upright on the plane isn't too bad for brief catnaps for me, since it isn't supine REM, which is when I tend to do my worst. Hopefully if I snore, someone will kick the back of my seat.
Hey, just me. Your air miles may vary.
I'm originally from KY. Let's hope Vanderbilt goes down tonight. I'm tired of losing.

Re: sleeping on a plane
Before cpap, I slept on a transatlantic flight.
The movie was Groundhog Day, and I kept waking up at the "same" part.
So weird.
