Mask straps keep slipping... Solution?

Post by wrybread » Sat Sep 28, 2024 6:07 pm

The straps on my Airsense N20 mask keep slipping and I wake up with my face getting blasted with air. Ive been sewing on additional Velcro since the Velcro is so weak, which works but then the straps stretch over time so I need to do it again.

I'm about to sew Velcro on my new straps but thought I'd see if anyone has found other solutions. A little clip maybe? Obviously needs to be something that doesn't press on the temples when sleeping on the side. But there *must* be a better way, the Velcro on these things is just ridiculous. Otherwise I like the mask a lot.

You say the headgear stretches. That was an issue with the old design P10 pillows too, When the headgear was washed & soaked in warm water, it shrunk back as it dried.

Perhaps this trick could work for you with your mask.

No, that's not what he said.

keep slipping
Is it safe to assume after putting the mask on you press the velcro together using thumb and forefinger?

How tightly are you adjusting the headgear? It should not be adjusted tightly.

Thanks for the correction. Indeed I jumped to conclusions there.
